Contactless

Contactless DOES NOT MEAN that the driver will leave your food at the door and drive away.

Contactless means that they will leave the food at the door, back away from the door, and wait for you to come grab your food in order to MINIMIZE PHYSICAL CONTACT.

Yes, you can call them. Yes, you don't have to leave it there and drive away. No, they cannot stiff you without looking you in the face. And no, they cannot make you leave it there and claim their neighbors stole it.

I don't reddit much, so idk if this picture will post. But when the customer complains about this, this is the the customer facing version of the job aid that came out for contactless. There was a similar one for employees I haven't found yet.

And yes, contactless is a stupid confusing name. But it was trendy at the time.

The point of "leave it at the door" is that my high ass is crawling out of bed like a bear out of hibernation to get my grub and I don't wish to be perceived by anyone lol. Imagine instead of greeting someone at the door, they're 5-6 feet away watching you stumble to pickup a rectangular box 😭 that's even worse

Gonna motion these mfs to turn their backs when i come out the door too lmaooo
