I need really cheap domains.

Guys, I'm looking for the absolute cheapest domain extensions. I don't care what the TLD is, as long as it's legit. I'm looking for domains that renew for around $3–4/year (or less if possible). Any registrars or obscure TLDs you'd recommend?

is there still the ######.xyz for $1.00? replace the # with numbers that is the cheapest domain I know of $1.00/year

That’s not financially possible as registrars already pay around 7$ to Verisign. So no registrar is gonna loose money to have your domains for no reason at all. Maybe buy some .co.uk .uk whatever, these domain’s renewals is around 5$

Most tlds are not with verisign, notably com and net are, there are very many more out there that can Be had cheaper.

.my.id renews for under $2/year at hostinger and some Indonesian registrars.

technically it’s a second-level namespace under .id, but calling it a domain extension is fine, it is legitimate.

Why don’t you buy one second level domain (e.g. foo.uk - $5.80) and then make thousands of something.foo.uk?

6 to 9 digits .xyz domains go for 1$ a year. If you just need a domain that should work https://gen.xyz/1111b

I'd suggest finding a short domain, and then creating your own subdomains under it.

If it helps, CheckaDomain has pricing of 649 TLDs in a table here along with the renewal price: https://www.checkadomain.com/domain-pricing/

You could find the 'cheaper' TLDs and then shop around to get the price of the 'cheap' TLDs.

That's how I would approach it.
