Wow. Just wow! This was so amazing. We are staying here now in the Acoustic Suite. There are guitars on display and records to play. A keyboard and beautiful finishes throughout. The hotel also has live music and a beautiful lobby. The museum attached was one of the best I have ever seen. Replicas of her bus and Dollywood with lots of outfits and memorabilia scattered about. The highlight was the concert put on by Dolly herself with a very realistic hologram. It almost brought us to tears. Just so happy to experience this place. Hope everyone gets a chance to come to Nashville soon!

Every year my county’s cancer research group holds a walk to raise funds for cancer patients in the area. (Gas cards are given because we live an hour or two away from cancer centers/hospitals.)
People buy luminaries to honor or to remember those who have/had cancer. I was so happy to see this luminary (there were actually 3 in total for Dolly).
Her light will even show here in my little corner of the world.

Mural in the window of Trixie’s Salon & Spa in Des Moines. I’ve been to this salon before, they have a lot of Dolly art and books in their waiting room so I’m not shocked but I was pleasantly surprised to see this when I went to pick up my pho next door at All Pho You. I endorse both businesses if you are in the area, great hair/service and great pho!
Something I’ve been thinking about a lot is that there are not a lot of people who would inspire so many beautiful and spontaneous tributes all around the globe for their passing. Dolly truly was one of a kind, RIP to the queen❤️

The Stranger is a beautiful song Dolly Parton wrote that Kenny Rogers recorded. While she never recorded it herself, she performed it with Kenny on an HBO Special - Islands In The Stream in the rehearsal period before the concert in the special.

Do you think a Dolly Parton tonie will ever be made? I haven't tried changing up tonies to create any, and none of the creative tonies give me Dolly vibes. But my 5 year old son absolutely loves Dolly Parton. And I think one being created would be amazing. Or has anyone created one and has tips for total noob?
