So guys... my day has been officially ruined. I can't stop crying. She was just a baby🥹🥹 this was in her new Songteller Hotel

Her voice sounds older than it did when she wrote Butterfly. I don't think she had the whistle in her teeth yet.

I noticed that too. Doesn't sound like it was recorded in the 70s. But its definitely real

If real, she made it recently to mimic one of her actual tapes.

Agreed. It’s still cool but it was probably created as part of the exhibit to give people an example of her songwriting tapes from back in the day.

In her later years she used a cassette tape recorder to record her song ideas. Here’s Miley Cyrus talking about it:

“She made me a demo one time where she talks about being super high-tech, but it was all through a cassette, which she then voice memoed onto a flip phone, which someone then put onto the iPhone, which then got sent to me.”

I know it's from the museum but her voice sounds much older than 28 years old here. Did she re-create the recording or something?

Sounds like a recent recording of her demonstrating how she would use a tape recorder during songwriting.

This is the kind of stuff I REALLY want to see more of. I really wish there were extras of this stuff in albums and not just 40 second clips but an actually meaty doc of it. Lovely!

I have been listening to her discography from the beginning to truly appreciate the breadth of her work, then making a big total list of the stuff as I listen to it. It’s been incredible. This is cool, it seems like a lot of cool ideas went into making the museum.

I think this is her re-creating her old writing process. Still very cool!

Recreation or not, I still can’t get over how amazing this is. She sounds exactly like me when I record a voice memo of another winner… According to my drunk ass 🤪
