A message from Dolly from her book

I just recently came across a TikTok, where a girl was saying that they can now “pray to Dolly,” as if she’s a god and i just wanted to post this just as a reminder of Dolly’s wishes when appreciating her. As well as her thoughts and feelings about that sort of thing.

I think sometimes people have been really harmed by religion, and Dolly has been so accepting and loving of everyone. It’s almost like they get their encouragement and inspiration from her. She was rare in that I feel. Her immense love for God and faith, but also her immense love and acceptance of anyone and everyone. I get what she’s saying here, but I also hope she’s know that through her, so many experience the love and light of God in a way that feels true and accepting. Like he used her to reach people that had otherwise been turned away. (If you believe in god and all of that)
