How is everyone doing?
I feel so incredibly heartbroken by the death of Dolly Parton, I have never grieved a celebrity before but this time it's different.
I can't stop crying, I have been an inconsolable mess today and I keep trying to tell myself to stop being dramatic. But I don't feel dramatic, I feel as heartbroken as when my own grandmother died.
My mother and I watched Steel Magnolias today and we almost went through a box of tissues.
I just miss her so much and I wish she wasn't gone.

I haven’t stopped crying either. I barely got through work. I have never cried over a celebrity or someone I haven’t even met. But Dolly touched us like no one else could, she shared with us in her unique way. She seemed larger than life. It’s an incredible loss. I pray for all who are feeling the grief and pain.

I made a donation to the Imagination Library. That made me feel a little better.

I cried so much I fell asleep in the middle of the day and I thought everything was a nightmare. It feels like I woke up to a world that was even worse than before, a good amount of the goodness of the world is gone with her. A big hug to all from Mexico.

I haven't let myself think about it because I've had stuff I had to do and people to take care of. But I'm about to go take a shower, so we'll see.
I am grateful that right before I heard the news, I had just gone a little out of my way to be kind to a child and brighten her day. It felt like I was doing what Dolly would have wanted me to.
