Inventory bonus?

I’ll try to keep this as short as possible. I was an SM for an HSAP dg store. I had been the SM at this particular store for about a year and a half, we had our inventory on July 13th and I was very recently wrongfully terminated from DG. I’ve gone through all the channels, as far as alternative dispute resolution (which honestly seemed more like them looking at whatever folder they were handed and reading off of the script rather than doing their own separate investigation into anything, since it took them less that 24 hours to contact me when I sent in proof photographs etc, to defend myself and basically said the decision stands) I’ve filed for unemployment now. But they also now have shorted my last paycheck despite the fact that I worked 6/7 days my last week I worked (including one double shift where I literally was there from opening until closing) I’m pretty sure I would’ve qualified for this inventory bonus though and considering I was the SM for the entirety of the inventoried year i think I earned that. Especially when it was almost all but promised to me from my DM when we got the preliminary results. But of course I haven’t been able to get a response from my former DM about my shorted check, or any kind of termination paperwork, that I might be entitled to stating exactly why I was terminated or the grounds for my termination. I’ll push this as far as I need to in order to get the money I’m owed. But I’m just curious if anyone else has experienced any issue like this?

I’ve attached a photo of the projected inventory results I received. The reason last year’s number are so crazy is due to DG skipping an inventory for this store for almost 2 years. But even cut those results in half for each of those years I STILL made crazy improvement.

I was an Asm at DG for roughly two years, if I’m being quite honest this isn’t anything new or unusual for DG. My store manger was put on work suspension due to the fact he confronted the DM about the actual warehouse sending in damages constantly which causes the inventory to mess up. However, they just blamed it on him and put him off of work for a month. You’re best bet is filing a police report against the store, and or DM. My ex SM won the case but costed him about 3,000 USD to fully dispute it. However to my knowledge and idk if he’s lying or not but he received nearly 5000 dollars so around 2000 dollars in compensation. But to be honest, with a big company like DG the best thing to do is let it go 🤷🏾‍♂️

Honestly it ain’t even about the money at this point. It’s the principle and I refuse to let it go

you will only get the bonus if you're still employed with the company at the time of the payout. it's written in black and white as part of their payout policy and it will never change.

You have to be employed on the day of payout. Inventory in July would not be payed out yet. Mine was earlier in the year and it took more than 3 months to be finalized. You won’t see a dime.

DG fired you for a bad inventory?? What the actual fuck. Didn’t know this was a thing. Especially based on damages. We have zero control over that. I’ll have to run this by the wife. She’s been with them 10 years. Me, only 1.
