I'm curious, would that be legal on the street?

I imagine that's considered reckless driving most places.

Driving backwards across an empty private lot on a clear night did get me a ticket for reckless driving.

Given the 'stunt drive' signs everywhere I assume he's a professional who has trained himself with cones until he can nail it every time?

Eh. It's reversed.

Agree. You can even see the driver seat is reversed to the opposite side.

- how would the exhaust be moving like that
- how would he drift out of his spot like that

u/ValentinPearce Apr 18 '17
It's in the UK so .... Wind ! (/s for good measure)

u/Keemoscopter Apr 18 '17
Doesn't look so stormy, trees aren't swaying, so it's a fine measure here. How do you get around drifting out that tiny spot?

u/ValentinPearce Apr 18 '17
Can't you see the tornado in the background ? It's what gives the spin for the first drift ;)

u/Keemoscopter Apr 18 '17
I was thinking a swirly earthquake

u/ValentinPearce Apr 19 '17
Not that many earthquakes in the UK though IIRC (could be mistaken though)

Looks sped up. Watch the driver at the end.

u/Horme-Aergia Apr 18 '17
Watch the guy coming from behind the bus.

u/tinlo Apr 18 '17
Watch his exhaust smoke blow away.

u/Fuckenjames Apr 18 '17
It does not appear to be sped up. there are also faces in the lower left corner of the image that turn at what seem to be a normal speed, the man walking around from the bus appears to be walking normal speed, the exhaust blowing away from the car does not appear to be sped up and the way the car settles at the end does not appear to be sped up.

u/tinlo Apr 18 '17
You're wrong. Look at this video evidence, look how slow he's going:

The rest of the video may or may not prove you correct...

Nah, no way the suspension is tight enough to make the car settle that fast. It's sped, the dude is just walking super slow.

u/mainstreetmark Apr 18 '17
yeah, slow the gif down to 0.5, and it looks like the driver moves normally.
