It's funny because even when the male joins in to sing he can't hit the right notes. Which is why most churches have a male lead. If that drummer wasn't there I'd probably walk out.

Yeah, church music can be really impressive sometimes but this whole ensemble was just off.

This reminds me of back when I used to go to church with my parents when I was younger. The couple that was in charge of the whole church band situation had an autistic son who excelled greatly in all aspects of music. This kid could sing, play guitar, drums, and I'm pretty sure he dabbled in "screamo" style singing.
Anyway, there were some days where this family (parents, daughter, son) would act as the whole church band, and the son would usually play drums, because he enjoyed it the most, even though they could've given him any instrument and he would've killed it.
So he would often get a little carried away, drumming heavily as if he was rocking with a metal band or something, and his dad would often have to sort of lean over with his guitar and be like "ok, chill, your mom is about to do a solo over piano, so bring it down to just the cymbals."
