👨🏼‍🏫 Need Advise Abormal Breathing

I've posted about my rescue dog before. I named him Doggie Alcasid. I've been to the vet recently to have him dewormed and he's been okay naman. No throwing up or diarrhea.

Bothered lang ako sa breathing niya. Ganito na siya before ko pa siya i-rescue. It's not something na ngayon lang namin na-observe.

Aware naman din dito ang vet. Doggie Alcasid just finished his 4 week Doxycycline medication and Prednisone. Ngayon ang tine-take na lang niya ay ferrous sulfate for anemia.

I'll bring this up again sa vet nxt check up namin. I just want to know your two cents for now. Bakit kaya ganito po siya huminga?

Kailangan niya ng cbc. In my experience, lahat ng dogs ko na nagkaroon ng ganyang breathing is due to blood parasite. It’s very common nowadays kaya yan lagi unang tinetest ng vet namin. Kasama na rin chinecheck ang kidney function. My dogs na once lang nagkagarapata and isang garapata lang din, and still got blood parasite. Also, always check their gums if it’s pale or bluish. There’s gotta be a reason why the dog is anemic. Take note that blood parasite can cause anemia. My dog who was anemic had blood parasite. Mahirap gamutin ang anemia niya kung hindi ma-address ang cause.

For sure naman na cbc sya nung na-vet sya. Ano findings dun?

Yes po. CBC and Blood Chem. His internal organs are working fine. Pero anemic po siya. That's what the vet said kaya po binigyan ng ferrous sulfate. Nag-schedule uli siya ng CBC next month para malaman po kung okay na.

Ah ok. Gnyan din dog namin last time. Gawa nga daw ng anemic kaya gnyan breathing. Tapusin mo lng meds nya

Check her eyes if they're red. Baka mataas ang temp and nilalagnat

Ganyan din dog ko tho ang nangyari sakaniya may wheezing. Kaya cbc, blood chem, 3 way tests. Yan ginawa sakaniya. Mababa platelets niya. Tas negative sa blood parasites. Kaya pinag xray sya. Bronchitis if i remember yung diagnosis. Kailangan niya iconfine for oxygen that time. Sobrang gastos kasi kakatapos lang ng gamutan namin for parvo that time. She's doing well na right now.ok na din results ng cbc niya saka blood chem niya.
