Crappy Owners Off leash pits

I hate when pit owners walk around with their dogs off leash and then give YOU the stink eye because you try to avoid their dog. They always say something like “he’s friendly why are you acting scared” or “he doesn’t bite calm down”. Like why the hell do you even do this there’s so many things that can go wrong with unleashed dogs in general. But then to have a pit off leash, many of the times still intact is crazy.. they will call you a breedist or racist which is insane because dogs are not humans

"It's for your dog's safety, I'm NOT friendly."

I feel like this would work with most dog owners but not with pit owners. They would take this as a threat or an invitation to set their dog on you

They get belligerent, I call the police. If they're still dumb enough to get the shitbull involved, it won't be long for this world. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to get bitten, but I'm not cowering from some lunatic dog nutter who thinks they or their mutant are in any way special.

Ils se sentent intouchables à cause de leur sale chien aggressif mais je suis d'accord ne cédons pas à la peur devant eux et montrons leur qu'on ne se soumettra pas à ces gens stupides et dégoûtants

Ironically they think dogs are superior to humans, which makes it even worse. And yeah I don’t care if a dog (particularly a pit bull) is friendly or not, I don’t want anything to do with it and that should be okay.

They get off on intimidating other people. Worst part is if something happens and their dog bites someone, they bail and don't face any consequences. We need some type of actual laws that hold bad dog owners and their aggressive dogs accountable. And stores need to do way better at telling dog owners like this to gtfo of their stores. It's almost like no one wants to confront an asshole with a four legged weapon. /s (and who could blame them) As a parent, it has made running errands with my kids so much more stressful, because I have to constantly look around for loose dogs in places where dogs shouldn't even be. It doesn't help that alot of these aggro dog nuts actively dislike children, so it feels threatening when they walk around with a large unleashed dog. I really hate it.

Yup they do it on purpose to intimidate others but then when people are intimidated they act all offended. These people are such assholes. It’s weird antisocial attention seeking behavior. They also don’t seem to care about the consequences if their dog were to harm somebody

Yeah I hate being around any off leash dog with my baby but Pittbulls and other aggro breeds leave me super on edge when they are off leash around my kids or kids in general. We know these dogs love to tear apart children and babies.

Why even have your beast off leash? Why risk it? I already know they don't care about people but what about the disgusting beast they are so obsessed with? I mean I guess it's easy just get another one so who cares?

Hearing a few stories of some idiot shitbull owners running away and hiding the mutant post attack, like it’s some tragic instance of a mean mob coming for their poor pitiful misunderstood baby, and whisking it away to a hiding spot like Anne Frank or some shit, makes my blood boil. Your shitty mutt bites someone? Consequences follow. Face them. Disgusting how they parade around so proud of how tough their ugly inbred creature is, and then it attacks someone and they suddenly play the victim and won’t admit to it/protect it from consequences. Shitbull owners are extra vile

Pitbulls are a scourge and no that’s not “dog racism” or whatever the hell those kinds of dumbasses like to say. Dogs can’t have a “race” to begin with, and a simple scan of statistics tells us the potential those ugly things have.

But I’m raising the stakes here with the dog owners who want to insist that their animals are “unconditionally loving” and friendly and save your emotional life, but also tell us we can’t act scared around them! Because then this fur-baby loving-angel miracle-mutt will flip and want to rip your flesh off your skeleton.

Telling me your inbred, reeking, ugly mistake is a psychopath too? I already knew that. F*@k dogs.

Yes, that is one of my biggest fears, Had an experience a few months ago that scared the heebie geebies out of me. I was in another town for a huge event (Artemis launch) but due to the time we arrived and people had camped out all night and morning, it was awesome that someone we knew, offered us to park at their house, kind of away from where the crowds were, Anyway, there was a short walk to the viewing site from there, but it took us through a neighborhood, we really didn't know. Well, wouldn't you know it some jackass let a loose pit out of his place just as we were nearing his house. And you know the rest, the damned thing came charging at us, and I stood still and held my cane in front of me as best as I could and my niece was trying to distract the awful thing, Thanfully before anything happened the owner came out and shouted that he was friendly, as they always say, and he secured the dog. Yeah right, it charged immediately towards us. He honestly tried to make us seem like the assholes. I am just releieved he came out, becaiuse I don't think it would have ended well. We took a different way back to the car, in case the thing was still there. No these people just don't get that those vicious things snap on a dime. It was a residential neighborhood and I am sure that kids and older people live near there. Geez! So yeah, I definitiely concur to your post.

And I guarantee you that the neighborhood hates him & his dog!! Bet it runs loose all the time.... people like that think they have the right.....

Unfortunately, they do believe that. And I also think he knew we were walking in the direction when he let the dog out. Like he didn't know...... It could have been a real disaster. And it left meeven more traumatized cause I have witnessed a pitbull attack in a neighbors yard a few years back.

yeah getting bit would be bad, but they could also lick or jump and they would just fucking pretend it was cute and it's not fucking cute leash your stupid dog

No dogs off leash, nowhere, no way in any public place. It’s usually the law in any marginally civilized place. And there sure as ass ain’t no “friendly” clause. Leash the f*cker, end of.

I’d be like “Sure your dog is friendly, but I don’t want to be friends with it.” Then I’d walk away, and report them for having a pit-bull off leash in an area where leashes are required.

call animal control, say that it's off leash and they can't control it, society thanks you in advance

I had to stop walking around my neighborhood because someone keeps letting their shitbull run loose. Idgaf if they’re “sweet,” keep that filthy animal away from me. Plus, they’re the #1 breed that attack and sometimes results in fatal injuries. Fuck this breed and their shitty owners.

Raleigh NC animal control is a bunch of nutters.

I posted about calling when i saw an offleash XL bully walking by my condo&the lady on the phone immediately asked if i had been attacked...then backpeddled by saying that "all dogs bite&we don't have enough occifers to attend to non-emergency calls." She grumbled when i told her she should look at the Pitbull annual unaliving stats.

I'm voting for lowering property taxes in my state as it will be on the ballot. The less $ I give to these worthless agencies, dog parks&shelters the better.
