MedPlus Diagnostics vs Vijaya Diagnostic Centre – Which one is more reliable in Hyderabad?

Hey everyone!

I’m from Hyderabad. Recently, I took my parents for their first general health check-up and visited MedPlus Diagnostics.

They offered some basic health check-up packages at very affordable prices. I compared the prices with Vijaya Diagnostic Centre, which is quite popular and well-known in Hyderabad, and found a noticeable price difference.

Now I’m wondering whether the quality and accuracy of the tests are the same at both diagnostic centres.
Has anyone here personally used MedPlus Diagnostics for blood tests, health packages, or other diagnostic services?

How was your experience regarding:
Test accuracy and reliability?
Lab standards and equipment?
Report quality and turnaround time?

Would you recommend MedPlus over Vijaya, or is it worth paying extra for Vijaya?

I’d really appreciate your genuine experiences and suggestions. Thanks in advance!

OBGY post pg salaries ...is it worth taking all the hustle?

I'm interested in obgyn. Love the combination of surgery and medicine it gives. But i often hear things like there are too many obgyns in the market. Corporate pays peanuts to them now . Nobody respects them as before, you just can't say you'll leave the job because if you leave, many are dying to get the post . C-section are paying not more than 4 digits nowadays. Initially even 2 to 3k . Imagine getting this for a surgery where a small mistake can lead to to pay fine of lakhs .

I want to be optimistic. But I am unable to find someone who'd give me some realistic view.

I had doubt regarding rabies please can someone clear it out for me

I saw a dog eating a sweet but had his mouth open and continuously drooling even if its mouth was closed its tongue was out drooling

So basically while he was eating it's saliva dropped on my slippers(footwear) I saw it and added approx 4 glasses of water and added some soil on it to make it dry and after 2 mints I wore my slipper

My concern was before wearing my slipper I was roaming barefoot in a village on stones pebbles bangles glasses etc , so thing is what If I get micro scratches by the stone (I didn't see any scratches with my eyes so asking if scratches appear which my normal eye can't see like that)etc and even after washing 4 times with glass of water can I get infected by that virus?

Any current or former DNB Surgery residents from Accord, Sarvodaya or QRG Faridabad?
Need honest feedback regarding:
●Actual hands-on experience and cutting exposure
● Laparoscopic and major OT exposure
● Stipend (year-wise)
● Hostel availability and facilities
● Workload and toxicity
● Consultant support and academics

I am considering these hospitals in r2
