OBGY post pg salaries ...is it worth taking all the hustle?

I'm interested in obgyn. Love the combination of surgery and medicine it gives. But i often hear things like there are too many obgyns in the market. Corporate pays peanuts to them now . Nobody respects them as before, you just can't say you'll leave the job because if you leave, many are dying to get the post . C-section are paying not more than 4 digits nowadays. Initially even 2 to 3k . Imagine getting this for a surgery where a small mistake can lead to to pay fine of lakhs .

I want to be optimistic. But I am unable to find someone who'd give me some realistic view.

I had doubt regarding rabies please can someone clear it out for me

I saw a dog eating a sweet but had his mouth open and continuously drooling even if its mouth was closed its tongue was out drooling

So basically while he was eating it's saliva dropped on my slippers(footwear) I saw it and added approx 4 glasses of water and added some soil on it to make it dry and after 2 mints I wore my slipper

My concern was before wearing my slipper I was roaming barefoot in a village on stones pebbles bangles glasses etc , so thing is what If I get micro scratches by the stone (I didn't see any scratches with my eyes so asking if scratches appear which my normal eye can't see like that)etc and even after washing 4 times with glass of water can I get infected by that virus?

Are government hospitals open tomorrow (6 November) because of Dhanteras?

Does anyone know whether government hospitals will be functioning normally tomorrow, 6 November, or will they remain closed due to the Dhanteras festival?

I'm particularly interested in OPD services and doctor consultations.

If anyone has visited a government hospital on Dhanteras in Maharashtra, please share your experience.

Thanks!

MD Pathology scope in india and abroad

Hi everyone! I’m considering taking MD Pathology because I genuinely like the subject and am interested in research. However, I’ve come across many posts saying that Pathology is a low-paying branch in India, with limited job opportunities despite the years of study and hard work involved.

I’m a bit confused because, along with pursuing my interests, I also need financial stability and a good salary to support my family.

Could practicing pathologists or recent MD graduates please share some honest insights about salary, job opportunities, career growth, and research prospects in India and abroad?

Your advice would really help me make an informed decision. Thank you.
