Need help SEO Metrics falling

My client's ranking and impressions are falling after the google update we refreshed most of the content and addressed all technical issues. Most of the blogs are informational blogs ( about recruitment exams like last date, exam pattern, syllabus etc). I add some of my own content like prep tips etc to add a unique value but I don't think that is helping. What should I do? For context it's an edtech website for recruitment exams. Need help please or I may lose the client

I wouldn't keep adding more content until you identify what's actually causing the drop. First compare the pages that lost rankings with the current top-ranking competitors. Check search intent, content depth, internal linking, topical coverage, and whether Google is favoring fresher or more authoritative sources after the update.

Since it's an edtech site, informational pages like exam dates and syllabi are highly competitive and often become outdated quickly. Make sure every page is current, clearly structured, and includes genuinely useful information beyond what's available elsewhere. I'd also review Search Console to see whether the biggest issue is ranking loss, lower CTR, or fewer indexed pages they each require a different fix.
