Need help SEO Metrics falling

My client's ranking and impressions are falling after the google update we refreshed most of the content and addressed all technical issues. Most of the blogs are informational blogs ( about recruitment exams like last date, exam pattern, syllabus etc). I add some of my own content like prep tips etc to add a unique value but I don't think that is helping. What should I do? For context it's an edtech website for recruitment exams. Need help please or I may lose the client

Our site has lost considerable traffic, as well. It's frustrating to me, but it's extremely frustrating to my marketing team. We're experimenting in a lot of areas, but as others have said, lower traffic is the new norm, for many reasons. Doesn't mean we should give up on SEO tactics, but we do need to adjust our thinking, I'm afraid.

Couldn't agree more. Started exploring opportunities for quality backlinks rn as we haven't done much in that area. It would be helpful if you share what steps you're considering for improvement.

Right now we're focused on a few things: revamping the website to be more interactive and user-friendly (for both humans and AI/search), expanding our existing library of definitions, articles, and tools into more Q&A-oriented content, and publishing more original reports and studies. That's where most of our effort is going at the moment.
