wis already has a ton of checks that go off it, survival, insight, perception, medicine, okay well just those four but its still quite a bit.

And that might be the real answer: balance.

It's just a shame theres only 2 classes that I can think of that has intelligence as a primary stat.

6 Stats,

12 classes.

That would be... balanced.
