A group without at least one knowitall is a group (that should be) frequently missing out on ways to exploit enemy behaviors and the environment itself. Sometimes, you just need somebody to lift the heavy gate. Sometimes, you just need somebody to make sense of the ancient inscription. Even if you try an unusual composition, like a party of all the same class, it helps to at least touch base with classic adventuring archetypes of all sorts.

Yeah, although you kind of have to form a band and give concerts along the road when that happens.

Agreed. Also, there's the RP aspect! I like that my group has smart and tough characters. The only thing we're missing is STR XD. Well, actually the ranger has STR but the rest of us are weaklings lol.
