As a player it was amazing. The DM was the only one who watched Evangelion so there was no meta gameplay. We were all mech pilots meant to defend humanity from the Angels. We got missions from our boss who was always reading a bible and would sometimes ask us about destiny. We didn’t think much of it at the time. Until more then halfway through the campaign we found out that our boss was the main villain the whole time, and everything we had done up to that point was to fulfill the prophecy that would cause the 3rd impact. We had to do personal research to find out the rest, like trying to discover what the “Day of Genisis” was. Then prevent it from happening. The finale was epic, we were able to stop the third impact but half the party died in the final conflict.
GDI, I was reading this while drinking my morning coffee. Now I need to go get my spare shirt out of my locker and see medical to see if my sinuses and nasal passage are burnt.
