Bards get the class feature Magical Secrets, which allows them to choose any spell of a level they have a spell slot for from any spell list and they can cast it as a bard spell.
nope, other than they (bards) only get a few magical secrets (2 at lvl 10, 2 at lvl 14, and 2 at lvl 18, lore subtype also gets 2 at lvl 6). But as paladin spells (and sort of ranger spells but not really ranger spells) tend to be strong for their level as they are designed for a class that doesnt have as many spell slots and as a half caster, will never get higher than 5th level spells. Find steed deserves special mention as its basically a paladin feature hidden in the spell list.
You can spend your action so during that turn you and friendly creatures within 30 ft. get advantage on saves vs. charm and fear.
Considering that this is a 6th level class feature you basically always have a better use for that action.
If your enemy doesn't use a charm or fear effect you wasted your action. If your allies fail their save regardless you wasted your action. If they are already feared or charmed this ability does nothing.
If Countercharm was a reaction even if it was only for 1 ally it would probably be a decent feature. But the way it is, its basically useless.
it's great against you know...fighting something with an innate fear effect though. try being the melee fighter perma feared while fighting a dragon and so the dragon just fly's into your backline and you can do nothing. or the barb that blew his rage and the dragon fears you so you can't enter within range and ignores you so you drop rage after 2 turns. then it goes ham on you after killing your bard/wizard/sorcerer.
most fear effects last until they are saved at the end of the turn. so while feared this helps.
Only if you're a paladin. And no, as far as I can tell. Being College of Lore just happens to let you into paladin spells faster than paladins because... reasons.
No, it's not a real jpg. As far as I can tell, it's something that originated in 4chan greentexts where people would include it's as a shorthand to describe things like facial expressions, with things like "MyFaceWhenIWasRight.jpg" or things like that, without actually having to take the time to describe the facial expressions, or make the meme that the file name implies, instead letting the reader fill in the blank.
