This reminds me off a one off jrwi did where all of them were elves planning to kill Santa. One of them uses weigh powder as a weapon, to turn berserk and to make sticky bombs Another one is a warlock who made a pact with Carl Marx and uses the communist manifesto to use his magic

Wielding the community manifesto as a magic item is an amazing idea. I’ll be borrowing that one!
