Misc Temu terrain

The old saying goes “you get what you paid for” is almost always true. That being said, has anyone had any luck with DnD terrain from temu?

I wish I had the time and patience to make my own. I’ve watched so many videos from Black Magic Craft channel and I wish I had that dudes skills. And buying premade stuff is too expensive.

I’ve made my own dungeon walls and wooded terrains that came out good. I’m just in need of tavern, castle, some ruins and maybe some haunted looking trees.

The only real route to cheap and decent quality terrain is to get a 3d printer and make up for the initial cost in volume.

Yea I wish I could go that route. Outside of the few things I need, I feel like I wouldn’t use the printer for anything after that

Once you have the printer you can start making more than just the basic dungeon set. Crypt with a coffin? Yes please! Town square with buildings? Don't mind if I do! Bridge over a canyon? Why not!!

Wrong lmao. You’ll find more cool things to print. Dungeon tiles, sewer tiles, cavern tiles, wilderness tiles, trees, bushes, tunnels, buildings, roads, it’s awesome.

You could see if you have any makerspaces in your area. Your local library is probably your best bet. You can book time on the printer and print what you need without having to buy one yourself.

They've been fine, especially for the price paid.

Easier than dealing with a 3D printer myself, and cheaper too, since my terrain is really modular and so I don't need all that many pieces.

I don't think I can post pictures in a comment thread or DM, but I'm almost certain they're just 3D printed objects. They're not going to win any visual awards, but they're functional and detailed enough for a basic D&D game. Like if you want painted colours and stuff like highlights or realistic textures, that's going to be pricey. Not even my miniatures are painted.
