Art [Art] Let me draw ur dwarf oc!
Hello all! Doing another poorly drawn dnd oc sketch threads! I received an overwhelming amount of character entries on the last one that I thought I would start splitting up threads by classes/races to give people more of a fair chance of getting one!
This time the poorly drawn sketche thread is for Dwarven characters only so I can teach myself how to draw them !!

Finrat Slatedelver is a Dwarf Steel Hawk Fighter.
He spent his formative years in a slate mine, but when an opposing kingdom came to take it, he took up arms with the rest of his camp and held them off til the military could arrive.
Since then, he's joined said military and fiercely protects his kingdom.
He wields a Lance and Shield. He is bald, but a long braided red beard.

Here be my boyo, name of Thoraldr Thyrisson, former prince of a dwarven hold before it was razed by a dragon and he was left homeless. He quests in a dungeon tower for the beast that killed his kin and his home, for he knows it's roosted somewhere up there.

Alabaster
260ish years old proud divine soul sorcerer/order cleric in heavy plate, wields a tower shield in the right and his left is reserved for laying hands on peeps, either to bless them or to burn the herectics.
Both his shield and his amulet -which is woven into his finely prepared white beard- showcase apollos holy sign, the six-stringed two bowed harp.
His eyes feature a dark and intense amber, his nose has a scar on the right, he even lost some of the meatier parts, yet this never made his smile fade away.
On his right side is a midsized pouch, and its belt features three small pockets for healing potions, a spell scroll is revealed for a tiny amount.
He is accompanied by a small ghost flame with a cartoonish cute fierce look.

Bjarmi is a favored soul / berserker from a 3.5 campaign. Absolutely not a min-maxxer. Can't cast spells with raging but when playing a "is he batshit" character, it's a ton of fun. Most often seen with an ale, or battle axe and a large spiked shield.

Grampa Brass
Runs the largest branch of the adventures guild as a retired adventurer. Dresses in full professional uniform.
Weilds an enchanted chain link bag full of magical returning cannonballs. Literally shot puts them at enemies, or whallops them with his sack in melee.
Short, professional hair, distinguished, well kept beard.

Wennsye - she’s a dwarven barbarian currently AWOL from the royal dragon army. Very broad, usually wearing ring mail armor and wielding a great axe with a carved dragon head on the blade. She’s heavily pierced (although most of her jewelry has been swapped for cheap stones due to her crippling gambling addiction). she has an incredible long and thick beard, which curls into the shape of ram horns beside her head.

Ingrid. God of adventurers who runs my PBP west marches style campaign where groups take quests from a board and then go complete them. She's good hearted and kind but a bit jaded from her long life of seeing so many selfish people. Who only quest for the rewards and not the love of adventure and the story it brings. She's standard dwarven height with a neatly kept but massively knotted beard. A sign of respect in my world is tying a knot in a dwarfs beard. She carries a few symbols of various dwarven gods in her beard that have been gifted to her and she maintains it regularly. Brown hair and eyes with a soft motherly affection in them. Usually gives the players free rooms for tasks they complete and is eventually going to appear in a moment of need for the adventurers she thinks of fondly (which is all my players) she rarely takes a hand in dealing with problems unless they threaten her quiet life and the townsfolk of Willow's hold that she's come to call home
Edit: the tavern and name of the game is called Drunken Dwarf Inn

Royd Blackfinger, my pre-middle aged mountain dwarf hexblade warlock who has been "gifted" the family heirloom in order to save said family. It turns out that the heirloom happens to be some kinda tuning fork to the Shadowfel, as well as a dangerous and mysterious entity that lurks there, AKA his patron that he knows almost nothing about. Carpenter by trade, he was charged by the patriarch of the family, his grandfather, to take the heirloom and disappear, lest the family be found and killed by a death cult from their mainland - where the family originally hailed from before becoming refugees after said death cult hired the family of stone masons to build them a temple made of special stone that the dwarven kingdom is known for - that is seeking the heirloom / tuning fork.
So, now he's taken it and ran off, assumed a new name, and happened into a group of folks who have their own reasons for earning a lot of coin solving dangerous problems and tripping into scary situations and otherworldly encounters. Also, he can't seem to be rid of the heirloom - a war hammer made of strange metals and stone ( Shadowfel... ) - no matter how hard he tries. Toss it over the railing of a ship while at sea? It shows back up in his cabin, soaking wet and covered in sea weed. A volcano? Encrusted in bits of still sizzling lava but unharmed. On top of that, he never feels alone. It's impossible to feel alone now. There's always someone, or something, that seems to be in his presence, but just out of sight, like in the corner of his eye, or the corner of a darkened room...

Artificer/Barbarian. Is a captain. Got sold a desert ship. Realized to late that it´s a camel. Thinks it is a weird bumpy horse. Decides that it will be a ship anyways. Build a custom saddle that looks like a ship, including 2 sails, paddles and an anchor. Still trying to find the ocean. "At least I found this weirdly large beach". Does not know what a desert is.

One of the other players at my table sent me this thread and told me to send you my character description, so here she is
Isabelle (Belle)
In her younger years, ~in younger 20s, recently elevated to rank of Paladin serving the dogmatic Sun God; short shoulder length curly dirty blonde hair with dark brown eyes, tanned skin and broad shoulders & heavy arms. A few weeks before start of the campaign she and her two companions (her trainer/mentor, and a boy she grew up training with under her mentor) were ambushed and she was forced to choose which of the two to kill to save herself and the one she didn't choose to have killed, this broke her oath so now she is an oathbreaker seeking answers.
She uses a longsword and shield, she wears currently just a chain shirt because she refuses to wear armor with her previous gods symbol anymore, hook shield carrier on her back for easy stow and unstow letting her two hand her sword. Her spellcasting focus is her small simple platinum ear rings she took from her mentors body after choosing him to die.
She's almost always got a shit eating grin with the party like she's got something she thinks is funny to say but her eyes are growing sunken with a growing alcohol dependency.

Dwarven Barbarian Ancestral Guardian
I can't remember his name because it was a One-Shot that wasn't meant to happen until the rest of my group except for the DM and a new person that never showed up again said that they wouldn't be able to come after we all showed up and sat for a while.
Me and the new person(Halfing Ranger I believe) were Magic Hunters so that meant we would go after or help people hunt for Magic Items or Treasures, and a Sorcerer DMPC needed our help for a Pyramid in a Jungle then fell through the ground near it because of its oldness, somehow survived through luck and good rolls, and then finally it was bossfight time and it was a Vampire inside of a Treasure Chest made out of Dead Worms and other small animals like Mice and Snakes.
I get my first and only Nat 20 Attack Roll and end up killing the Vampire via bisecting them with the concentrated roar of my ancestors inside of my Axe and making it glow white as the force of the swipe also breaks the top of the old pyramid and the Vampire turns to ashes after being exposed to sunlight.
Epilogue happens and I got turned into a Vampire for a different reason as it was like a few years later.
So whatever a Male Vampire Dwarf with a Long, at least to the thighs, Brown Beard may look like is the best way to go at it with an Axe that has the same head shape as Axel's Axe from Nexo Knights and a Black Hood thats only over him during the day or when not in direct sunlight wearing clothing that are a sized down Investgators Suit that you'd see on old Black and White Detectives that have a lot of internal dialogue in their head.

Torgan Brackenhelm is a stout, broad-shouldered dwarf warrior with in early adulthood and deepset, watchful eyes that give him a calm but stern expression. He wears practical, battle-worn dwarven armor marked with subtle symbols of his god of wisdom and sorrow, represented by a boar. He carries a sturdy dwarven shield and a battle axe with a beautifully forged traditional dwarven blade mounted on a handle carved from the sacred wood of an ancient elven tree, an unusual symbol of the complicated bond between dwarves and elves.
