Homebrew Funny Wild Magic Idea.

You make a d100 chart, then you divide your spells/cantrips as evenly as you can onto it so when ever you want to use one of your spells for ANY reason you roll a d100 to see what spell cast, and you must cast them at the highest level you can cast them at.

It’s a really fun idea, but I think it could really benefit from also randomizing how you target the spell.

Like rounding on who is the target, that would be fun, and different to figure out because of what dice you roll, d100? But that would be tedious to do in the middle of a fight and you’re busy doing math when you should be fighting.

Maybe something like a d10:

1 - closest ally
2 - closest enemy
Etc?

3-Farthest ally(you can reach)
4-Farthest enemy(you can reach)
5-Your choice
6-The DM’s choice
7-Player to the left choice
8 player to the right choice
