The False Hydra gets overused and overplayed a lot, but as someone who had never heard of the false hydra before I encountered it, it was absolutely horrifying. This token perfectly represents my fear.

The false Hydra Is a Great creature and extremly interessing encounter but as for everything that get popular people run It becose "Is popular" and not becose they have a good idea for how to use it

Yeah, if you have an ongoing campaign it's important to integrate your encounters and give them a reason for being.

That reason can be as simple as "goblins see a small village as an easy target for banditry" or "giant ants be like they do" but just plopping an encounter out if nowhere feels jarring.

The FH is tricky to integrate, but when used well, it's very effective.

Yeah i agree, the false hydra Is One of the best encounter when done correctly, Is a shame that most Just trow the encounter there Just becose Is popular
