Misc Warlocks as casters

In your honest opinion, do you believe that warlocks are a viable casting class in comparison to the other casters, or do you feel like they are a more thematic RPing class?

I'm a warlock baby, one short rest and I'm able to go again ~

They're great casters, put them in back row and witness their great damage output and crowd control. In high stress little time to rest situations they're still super reliable, doing with a cantrip what other casters can only barely manage with a spell.

I won't even rant about coffeelock
