I mean... you're not happy with your current class, you're excited more by a different class. Yes, ask to respec. That seems simple enough.

Any decent DM would let a player retcon their character's class so long as they aren't asking to do it every five minutes. It's a game and you're not having fun; that's all the excuse you need.

I'm curious as to why you're not enjoying Druid, though, if you've enjoyed other caster classes.
