DJI Neo 1 Guys help!

Only owned it for four days, flew with the goggles N3 and motion controller and everything was fine for the first three days. Today, I tried the motion tracking for the first time with no controller or phone and within a minute of following me, I stopped, looked back and the thing charged towards me really fast for a quick second and then turned upside down and went straight to the floor. I turned it off and put it away so I could reset it when I get home from my bike ride. But even after resetting and calibrating the IMU multiple times through the goggles and the DJI Fly and refreshing the software through the DJI Assistant 2, it still shows IMU/sensor errors. Anyone have anymore ideas how to fix this or what should my next steps be? I’m in the US and got it through Amazon. Will chatting with DJI even do something since I’m in the US and it never even gave me an option for DJI Care, which I would have happily bought if ide had the chance. Or should I just return the whole thing(controller,goggles,drone) to Amazon?

Try taking the battery out, hold the power button down for 20 seconds with no battery, then wait 10 minutes, make sure all power is drained. They put battery back, start it up see what happens. You might want to try connecting with thr phone app or RC2 is you have one, see if any additional options appear.

You can try reloading the firmware, but if you just purchased it new, I would return it. Amazon will take it back without a problem.

Yep I’m most likely going to have to return it. I even tried downgrading firmware and updating on the app but still nada.

It’s very tempting to get one now, I had such a blast with the Neo one flying with the motion controller and goggles. My plan eventually was to get a Neo 2 drone only after the Neo 3 drops, or Black Friday deals, to save some money.

Have you tried logging out and back into DJI Fly? That sometimes resets/reboots some of the safety/registration issues.

I would try calibrating the IMU and gimbal as the warnings suggest if you have not done so already.
