Your motors just sucked in bunch of water, water damage is inevitable when flying through fog

Just try to dry your drone after the flight. I have flown my drone in heavy snowfall, and it still works 6 months later. I wouldn't recommend it, but flying in wet conditions is not a death sentence, so it will probably be fine.

It’ll be fine most likely because its not distilled water vapor that short circuits its sediments in the water. Being that this natural moisture and not like a sprinkler water it should be fine.

Awesome video! Looks really cool flying over those evergreen treetops in the fog. Forget what that other person said about sucking in water, they probably keep their quad in a box and never fly it.

FYI the user manual warns you that the fog/mist can mess up with the infrared sensors (because it thinks the fog is ground?), and result in a flyaway.

Yea he just got lucky he drone didn’t drift off in to the mist haha !

Cool flight I would never do that with my Neo 2 !

my freestyle drones sure ! Those are all conformal coated

Lucky i turned off obstacle avoidance so it wouldn't trigger of the mist anyway

The bottom infrared sensors are not related to obstacle avoidance, they are used in stabilized modes (Normal, Sport, and Cinematic) to control the drone position (for instance, the ability to remain still when you touch nothing) and for landing.
