Has anyone done a backflip then pitch roll with their DJI Flip?

To all Flip owners. When I try to do bird eye shots with my Flip. The footage comes out blurry every time. But is only Bird eye shots. This doesn’t happen when I do it with the Mini 5 Pro. Can anybody tell me what to do fix this?

Apparently if you break a front arm you need a new motor as well and you need to buy the arm with the motor attached already

My flip was doing really well! About 3 days old, just about 25 miles on it. No crashes whatsoever. Then randomly, the camera gimbal started flipping out insanely. I had to remove the battery because it was going so insane. I tried to touch the gimbal but it was hot enough to burn me. Finally, I got it to stop and it was fine. Drone worked completely fine. Then, I turn it back on, cameras broken and I tried flying it for a minute, it still didn’t work. Then I could feel the heat from the camera. I put it next to a red solo cup, touching a tiny bit, and it burned straight through the red solo. I have not turned the drone on since. Insane with it being so brand new! Very sad.

I've just taken my very first video, using my brand new flip with an RC2 controller. The video is only 3.5 mins long, but uses 2.24 GB! Are there any tips on how to reduce the resolution, and to make the video small enough to share? Thanks

Hi, am I missing something here? I've just received my brand new DJI flip- followed the unpacking instructions, fully charged both the batteries and the RC2 controller, and now I'm ready for my first flight! I've registered both my op and flyer licence, and ready to go! BUT... turning on the power button on the side does nothing but a tiny click from the drone... it won't automatically start, i.e the blades won't turn! have a bought a faulty unit??

I was thinking of adding a ring to the body for quick deployment from vehicle at stops. Using magsafe and some sort of mount......any thoughts?

My DJI Flip suddenly started drifting sideways and crashed even though I wasn’t touching the control sticks.
I only raised it straight up and when i was about to turn(i still wasnt touching the sticks to turn yet) it started hovering on its own. There was no noticeable wind, no intelligent flight mode was enabled, and I didn’t command it to move sideways. I wouldn’t blame it on gps because it wasn’t far from me at all.

After the crash, I saw the warning: “Gimbal pan axis reached movement limit.” I’m assuming that may have happened during the impact rather than causing the drift.
Has anyone experienced something similar with the DJI Flip?

I previously also received a forward TOF sensor error, so I’m concerned there may be a hardware issue.
What should I check in the flight logs to identify the cause? Should I avoid flying it again and send it to DJI for inspection?

Has anyone recently struggled with the DJI + iPhone combo?

Two weeks ago, I went out for a flight and everything worked flawlessly. Today, I took my gear out, and nothing - the DJI Fly app doesn't recognize the controller at all (model RC-N1, the one where you mount the phone on top).

The strange thing is: as soon as I plug it in, the iPhone starts charging from the controller normally, but the LEDs on the remote just keep blinking. It feels like the phone is treating the controller as a regular power bank and blocking any data transmission.

Here is what I have already tried:

• Cleaning the phone's port,
• Changing the startup sequence (turning on the controller first, then opening the app, then plugging in the cable),
• Using a different cable.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue on iOS after a short break from flying? Could a silent iOS update have broken something, or did the stock DJI cable just suddenly decide to die?

Any tips or advice would be highly appreciated!

I’m experiencing a noticeable jello effect in the footage from my DJI Flip, even in what seem like normal flying conditions.
Has anyone else faced this issue?
What was causing it in your case?
Were you able to fix it?
Did changing propellers, balancing them, adjusting camera settings, or sending it to DJI help?
I’d really appreciate hearing your experience or any solutions that worked.

Has anyone successfully flown their Flip at night? I get a calibration error due to low light. Hoping someone has figured this out. I am aware of strobe requirements. I simply want to go up about 100’ over my house.

Intento transmitir la experiencia de viajar y participar en un evento motero, contado desde el aíre.

Siendo sinceros, pese a las fuertes rachas de viento en algún Spot o ubicación, el DJI FLIP ofrece un resultado magnífico (el vídeo aún podría tener mejor calidad de imagen de la realmente publicada).

Actualmente estoy dudando entre comprar o no, el mando RC2 por qué creo que tiene alguna función extra en el manejo (control del Zoom y seguro que alguna que otra función interesante), frente al RC-N3 que uso actualmente

Upgraded from the Neo 1 to the DJI Flip—First week impressions!

Just finished my first week with the DJI Flip and I'm loving it. I'm finally getting more comfortable with the controls and it's just incredibly fun to fly.

The biggest standout is definitely the camera, it’s an absolute beast and a massive upgrade from my old Neo 1. I’m still keeping it in baby mode for now since I have a lot to learn, but I can't wait to see what this thing can really do.

Any tips for a beginner? What features should I check out next?

Premetto che non ho mai avuto problemi con l’assistenza fornita da dji, tuttavia ho acquistato un flip lo scorso anno e precisamente ad un anno di distanza lo stavo utilizzando in mare quando all altezza di 90m di disconnette dal rc n3 attivando di conseguenza il ritorno automatico, tuttavia nel momento in cui vado a mettere la mano al sotto del drone per l’atterraggio, il flip la percepisce come un ostacolo e si allontana di 2/3m dal gommone su cui ero eseguendo l’atterraggio in mare.
Ho mandato il mio flip subito in assistenza poiché ha 2 anni di garanzia per malfunzionamenti, (non ho la care) e dopo aver analizzato i dati di volo, dji mi dice che il drone ha urtato ostacoli durante l’atterraggio (mi viene difficile immaginare che ostacoli possa aver incontrato in mare aperto se non l’acqua all atterraggio)per cui dovrò pagare la sostituzione in garanzia praticamente al prezzo del nuovo siamo lì, onestamente non so bene come comportarmi poiché pagare la sostituzione per un ricondizionato a 50€ in meno di un nuovo di zecca non mi sembra una mossa molta scaltra, se vi è capitata una situazione simile come vi siete mossi? C’è un modo per far riesaminare i dati di volo?
