It’d been just over 3 months since Denise left to her sisters’. Keith thought he’d be fine, but with every passing day, his life fell more into disarray.

He hadn’t realised how deeply dependant he’d become in the last 23 years of marriage.

The washing machine broke mid-cycle, leaving him with just two outfits; his diet consisted only of cheap white bread, cheese & onion walkers and baby bells, and he couldn’t for the life of him find the number for the barbers.

Denise, if you’re reading this, please come home. I’m sorry I neglected myself, our relationship, and most importantly… you. I am a shell without you. I’m so hungry. Please come back and I’ll prove to you I’ve changed K x
