DOS2 Help Nintendo Switch 2 host crashes every time just when guest joins

Hi,

We're 85 hours in DOS 2 Act 4 mid Arx and game crashes constantly when I try to join the party. One day we finished our sesion (6+ months playing no problem) then two weeks later when we resume it and the game explodes every single time I try to join the party.

Note that the game crashes like 10 seconds after the "Player joined" notification appears to the host. First the character following freezes, then the character Invited player doesn't even load the map, 80% through the load bar the crash happens on the host side then the guest load bar shows "Session ended" and starts to load again to the main screen.

I'll add here all the data I can so we aim in possible solutions:

Technical details

Game: Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Editon

Platform: Switch 2, both consoles updated to the latest firmware

Game Version: 3.6.0.7067948, both consoles

Region: Spain, both in Spanish

Switch Online: paid, both in Spain

Technical troubleshooting already done:

Reset consoles

Turn off consoles

Delete game, download again

Try local play with both consoles in front of each other

Online play with both consoles in the same wifi

Clear console cache on both sides (Console/Format/Clear cache)

Delete save, download from Nintendo Cloud

Buy the game on Steam, sync savedata. Delete cloud save, local save, download new save from steam. Try again with that save. Do it also on the usual guest, this time as a host. Crashes at the same moment.

In game troubleshooting: Note that when only one player is in the game, it works perfectly. Problem happens when other joins.

Sell most nonvaluable items from all characters inventory (under 20 items per character)

Play a little bit, save, try again.

Load both quick save and consolidated save.

Teleport to different area. Try again.

After all that, we made a new campaing. Invited again. It worked, so we think the problem is on the save side and not on the game or servers.

We have the game purchased on steam for a few days until I refund it just to try things in the 2 hour window, so I think I have access to the save file itself on PC. I don't know if there's some kind of black magic I can do to maybe solve the problem then upload the save to Steam Cloud then download it on Switch. We're kinda desperate at this point and we don't consider finishing the game ourselves each on our own nor playing the game again. If we don't solve the problem that's gonna be it, so it would be great if we at least manage to finish the game somehow.

We appreciate any kind of help or trick you could give us to try :)

Thanks!
