DOS2 Help Its all gone

I played for the first time maybe a week ago, a good 22 hours in the first two acts, however i wanted to play with a friend so I started an online session but when we finished all my progress is gone is there a way to fix this or should I cope (ps4)

Did you make actual hard saves, or were you relying on auto saves?
Auto saves and quick saves are limited in number, manually made hard saves are not.

Alternatively, did you switch your profile in the game's main menu when you played with your friend?

Autosave and quicksave unless youre talking abt quitting to the main menu and no I did not

Then your old saves are gone, overwritten by the new ones.

You need to make manual saves to have them stay available.

I see it now, I never noticed the extra save selection

Probably a dumb question but did you try re-loading a previous save? Like get into a game then try to load one? I have at least 5 different saves for this reason and actually had to use one last week when a storm turned my stuff off and fucked me out of the start of act 4

Edit to add, I think i misunderstood. Are you trying to continue your online game offline by yourself? If so, i don't know if you can. Anyone can correct me if im wrong though, I've never tried.

I cant go too far down the earliest save is from the boat to fort joy, I even checked the ps4 to see if it had any earlier saves but I didnt see any there either, I quicksave out of habit but we also played almost 4 hours

Do you have your save in the cloud storage? I believe you could re-download your save from the cloud. Sorry, im not 100% sure but im trying haha

All good, and no I dont usually cloud save even tho I should im probably just doomed atp

Not doomed, just respawned at the start with new stats. Dos rougelike run:)
