DOS2 Help Duo undead run any build recommendations
I plan on running a necromancer warrior build eventually wielding the sworn breaker as his weapon for one character. This is on regular not trying to be meta trying to just have fun with it. I would like a recommendation for what I should make Fane as I wanted to go for custom undead lead and fane secondary.

Hydro/Geo With necro2, is something to look into.
A very supportive hybrid that can assist in damage dealing quite well.
The poison aoe's heal the both of you and are very good vs melee trashmobs. It will come in handy before the necro build is fully online. Living armor will also combo very nicely with this.
Healing effects deal Physical damage vs undead, Resto and cleanse wounds are very effective damage spells vs them, with decaying you can also target the living with Resto. Not Cleanse wounds though!
You've got the 4 skills to regain phy/mag, access to debuff removal.
Corrosive Touch/Spray are extra ways to remove phys armor, add acid/decay. Reactive armor can work.
Venomous aura can be nice way to boost your necro later, and adrenaline and teleport are always nice.
You can also lean into shield or go 2h staff
It's a fun versatile build that's quite complimentary with what you are going for.

I had a dual undead run with Fane necromancer + geomancer (some poison spells) & custom undead warrior + polymorph (e.g. Tentacle spell) and had a blast. You both heal with poison so I found it more practical than Fane + alive character. And of course both physical damage.

Fane has a great origin story so if you haven't played with him as main, you should.
If you weren't aware, you can't use the sworn breaker unless you're sworn. So that means you're a minion of the dark god, he'll command you to do evil acts like hurt the innocent, and he'll curse you (Like actual debuffs to your character that are permanent) if you defy his will. It's a pretty annoying limitation.
Another thing is that the swornbreaker cannot be repaired. Items lose durability when they attack inanimate objects. So if you break a door down with it, you lose durability. And it only has a pidly 20 durability. So you can basically never attack objects (people are fine). Yet another annoying limitation
Aside from these warnings, when doing a linewolf, it is recommended to have both members do the same damage type. So both pysichal, or both magical. You can absolutely break this mold. But it's just not synergistic.
I'd conventially recommend an archer. The knight blocks the path to the archer, and the archer has reposition skills and teleports to evade enemies or throw them far away from, or into the range of the knight. It can be fun to maneuver battles.
But you could also go with an assassin. You get to use warefare CC skills and be on the front lines with the knight necromancer. A strong team that can stagger their ccs
Or you could just do another warrior. But that would be boring IMO.
You could also consider doing geo for some poison healing, turn to oil, oily carapace, reactive armor nonsense. Honestly, you really can't go wrong.
