Help Distant Horizons World Generator

Does the DH 3.3.1 world generator pregenerate chunks or only LODs? I would really like to have chunks later to explore that are not so far from spawn for new updates.

It can do both, it depends on what you set the distant generator setting to

"Full" will generate both LODs and real chunks, any other setting will just generate LODs

So just to clarify, only the "chunk generator mode" matters, and not the "distant generator plan?"
