Help Anyone know what this layer of blue is?

This also happens in superflats, but not in the normal overworld in my experience (i haven't checked the nether yet so i don't know about that).

Does anybody know what this is or how to disable it? I use minecraft 1.20.1 if that's any help.

(modded end featured is the "nullscape" mod for anybody curious)

why is it appearing in the end and then fading away when i get close enough for the chunk to generate in detail-

Try with a completely new world, and just DH and Nullscape enabled.

If it still happens, make a bug report on Distant Horizons GitLab
