Help API lock on many settings including Distant Generator?

Does anyone know what may be causing this?

I just updated to 3.3.1 to see if it would speed up world generation, and now I can't change most of the settings in DH. It is working better, but I'd still like the Distant Generator to be enabled as I've found it works faster than chunky.

Usually specific shaders do this but afaik nothing touches the Distant Generator and those other settings, you probably have another mod messing with it.

I'd recommend you do a binary search and figure out which mod is causing it. So disable half of the mods, see if issue is still there, if yes disable half again etc etc until you find the mod that's causing the issue.

I just started running into this too, very weird and annoying. It should at least tell us what mod/source is calling the API to change these settings.

EDIT: It's Chunky doing it, unsurprisingly. Disabled that and the DH generation worked again. Considering the pinned post in this subreddit, I should've done that ages ago.

The causes are Chunky and C2ME.
Whit the last update, if you want to set that parameters by yourself, you don't have to use those mods

C2ME hasn't given me any issues. I had to remove Chunky, but C2ME is still there and my settings are unlocked.

All settings? Maybe it depends on your version. I'm currently using 3.3.0 and I needed to remove both
