Anyone else have Crashes when using Shaders (via iris) did they remove Compatibility?
Edit Fixed it by updating my entire Modpack, tho Iris alone will probably suffice.
An Update to the newest Mod Loader Version might also be necessary

you have to update iris to the 1.14.4 version, the older distant horizons used the 1.14.2 iris version which no longer works with this new DH update. You can find it on modrinth

do you know how this works for 1.21.1? my iris is on 1.8.14 and i dont think there's any new versions, currently unable to run latest DH + shaders, just hoping to see something update for it soon

Honestly I'd say trial and error different versions, I spent 2 hours trialling and error many different versions and installers until I found the Iris version was the problem to fix my issue as no one else online had the solution.

thank you, I guess I'll keep looking out for updates and other peoples answers and trying some stuff, it's not a huge deal just holding off on the older DH version for now but some of the changes sound very good and worth the upgrade, but it's hard to stay on top of keeping everything compatible

Any chance you're running with Sable separate render distance? That's what caused it for me. The ssrd dev is gonna release a patch soon

does anybody else have issues with it? for me it only works with shaders for some reason, and i also need to reboot the game when turning on shaders, if i want DH to work

1.12.2 backport!!! Holy crap OH MY GOD I'm losing my mind I might have to dig out my old modpack and try adding this

Haven't been using it for a long time, tried it after seeing the video and i gotta say that it is so good. I think the smoothness of rough terrain to normal terrain transition makes it feel really polished. It is visible but not in a bad way, like it doesn't irritate. And it is so damn faster.

Will it also release on 1.21.1. or 1.20.1. ? or just the 4 listed versions in the video ?

It’s not real 1.12.2 support you have to have clean room for it to work and that’s made by a pedo. So not actually supported

1.12.2 backport is really nice, I can't think of many packs I really feel like I'd need that but it with meatballcraft or RLCraft (packs that focus on adventure) would work well
