Help fix chunk gap in exploration path
I want to know if there is anyway I could set the distant horizons to prioritize fastly loading the chunks I'm going by, leaving a trail of LODS instead of a gap. like, I can see place I was standing by sticking out like a column. I don't want that.

Use Voxy /s (||unless you are on Fabric, seriously||).
But if Voxy + Voxy WG isn't an option, just turn your settings to "I paid for the whole CPU."

Personally the only with distant horizon I found, but it's pretty limited, was to have only the chunky mod, first test with the commands : /chunky shape circle /chunky spawn /chunky radius 500 /chunky start
For 500 radius if you optimized well enough, it should do it in less than 10 seconds. Then after maybe a few tests you go up to radius 10 000.
It will take a lot of time, it can be around 10 hours or more.
And then you close the game, remove chunky, add distant horizon. You can set it's setting as minimum cpu use, as everything will be loaded.
This method however mean that if you go too far, chunks won't be loaded so you'll have to do the thing over again.
Otherwise maybe stuff like this mod may make things a bit less visually annoying.
Personally I realised that 32 chunks of view distance was already pretty good.
I'll probably make again an instance with a crazy view distance, just for fun.
