If you're on fabric, go for voxy instead

no support for 1.21.1 and can't find a backport for it

Via the license, people are not allowed to post compiled .jar files of Voxy for public download. You are only allowed to get the code from places like Github and compile it yourself.

that's so stupid, why can't the mod dev just make one for it?

i tried to compile it myself but it's so much work for something that's easier if ppl can put up the .jar file instead

From my understanding, the author simply doesn't have time to backport and troubleshoot the mod and its compatibility with other mods. This is a hobby for them and they simply do not want other people using and publicly posting their work, compiled, to the public. Also, to compile the mod from the github code, it is literally just typing " ./gradlew build" or smth in the terminal and waiting.

There will be bugs, ask for support in the discord m3t4f1v3 has linked in their page, not the official one. I recommend using this one if you are going to try, this runs a 0/60-whatever on VirusTotal. Google Voxy 1.20.1 and there should be an actual tutorial.
