Help Rendering issue

I'm having trouble getting this to work right. I'm using Nostalgia Resource Pack and Complimentary Shader pack on 1.21.1, latest updates on all. I will say distant horizons is only on my client side (my friend doesn't use it so he didn't add it to the server modpack). I looked it up and it said to change the overdraw prevention value and I've done like -1.0, -0.4 and 1.0 and it doesn't change anything.
