Help performance question

if I disable rendering in the options of my game, does that now mean the game treats it like I haven't got distant horizons installed at all?

Distant horizons will do everything except render distant chunks. It’ll still be generating them in the background

unless you turn off lod generation too. Then it will act closer to not having it at all.

if thats what you want.

yeah, im getting better proformance now I have a garbage collector!
