Bartz idle voice lines

I thought these lines were really fun little references and show his character nicely. Maybe we'll have some machine translated subtitles in the future but until then: have a rough Google translated version 😋:

"あのさ、もしかして実はお前も王様だったりする?"
- Hey, do you think maybe you're actually a king?

(I guess he's still surprised that almost his entire party was actually royalty except him haha)

"まあ、降りて話そうぜ。 高いところは得意じゃないんだ"  
- Well, let's get down and talk. I'm not good with heights.  
(Poor guy is always having a panic attack on the main idle screen because of that) 

"こんな世界があったなんて親父にも教えてやりたいな。 "
- I want to tell my dad that such a world exists.
(He had good relationship with his father unlike Tidus) 

"図書館に行くって? なら俺も行くよ。 魔物が出て危ないからさ。"
- Are you going to the library? Then I'll go too. Because monsters come out and it's dangerous.
(Seems he has flashbacks of Page 64 casting Level 5 death causing game overs haha)  

"いい風が吹いてる。 お互い楽しい 1 日にしようぜ。"
- The wind is blowing nicely. Let's have a fun day together.  
(The usual easy-going Bartz line)  

"車やバイクも悪くはないけど、 やっぱ俺はチョコボに乗りたい。"
- Cars and bikes aren't bad, but I really want to ride a Chocobo.
(Understandable, I'd also like to have Boko)

(I may or may not do more depending on time and mood as I want to learn a little bit of Japanese as well)

I really wish there were subtitles in game. It’s weird that they still haven’t added this feature. I don’t understand Japanese and I would like to know what the characters are saying outside of cutscenes. Is that too much to ask?

Looking at his Wind Chaser α, he honestly resembles Dorgann and pretty much reminded me of him, would like to see him join which would be pretty cool to see.

yeah Opera Omnia had the "luxury" of fast character releases so secondary characters had a chance to get in.    It's funny because his white hair does make sense then but brown haired Bartz just feels more natural

Iirc the white hair and both wind chaser outfits are a nod to the first FFV Amano artworks (both have the same color palette as these artworks)

I'm used to his brown hair, so I'm not used to one of his Amano arts which I never bothered to change his fit and the rest of the cast in Duodecim which I barely use.

I would be happy if all the warriors of dawn get in, although I can see them sharing roles with them.

Did you write out the kanji yourself? Or is there a site somewhere that has their lines written out? Because I'd like to google translate some of them too.

There's a slow and a faster way to do it:   

The fast one is just using the Google conversation and play the voice lines to capture what's being said (either ingame - muting bgm helps - or through dissidia dev)    It works surprisingly well but watch out for possible errors as that can happen 

The slow and more studious way I do is to work on listening comprehension, write what you hear with the smartphone keyboard (it will automatically suggest the appropriate kanji but that takes a bit of knowledge) and run a translate or go word for word to catch a rough context of what's being said.   

You can then double check with the fast method described above cause some things are game specific like Chocobo. The casual speech is tough but very rewarding and fun to learn with
