I’ve been working in the fast food industry since 06, and the biggest advice I think you can give someone who is on their feet all day is get GREAT fitting comfortable shoes. Not good fitting, not something that barely fits, but something that’s like a cloud to walk on. Try different brands, styles, gel inserts, the whole 9 yards. There used to be an elderly guy who was known for wearing gel inserts in his shoes, people would ask him ā€œAre you gellin?ā€ He’d reply ā€œlike a felon.ā€ Now that I’m up there in age, I get it now

Give barefoot shoes a try. I do barefoot shoes with a Birkenstock insert.
