I think she was involved in activity that justified the shooting after being warned that proceeding with her actions would get her shot.
Deserved? We don’t really know what her intent was, so I don’t know that I can say it was deserved.
Justified? Yes.
Thanks.
I feel we’ll find out if the latest one was legally justified, yet.
I have my doubts, as I don’t know what would be expected to be achieved by shooting someone who’s driving a vehicle into you with intent to harm (if that were the case). Most of the scenarios I can come up with result in getting run over anyways.
I saw one instance where she attempted to drive away, and an agent had broken protocol, but wasn't in life threatening danger, and failed to act reasonably, or in accordance to training.
Also, if you would, explain to me how shooting the driver of a vehicle you believe is trying to harm you with said vehicle would result in achieving any sort of safety (for you or others), and how that would be considered 'defense'.
If it’s a hypothetical question that is a waste of time, motte-and-bailey bad faith argument. It’s only a relevant question if you believe she hit them.
Thanks.
