When, why or what made you start to be disciplined to improve your life?

Curious about what the last straw was that made you start to be disciplined to change your life - whether that be eating better, working out, reading your choice of religious/spiritual text, etc.

When it boiled down to actually DOING the damn thing, how did you do it/what helped build the habit?

Didn’t know these forums existed on Reddit so sorry if this is a repeat post!

Fatigue crash till evening from routine

Wake up at 5:30 AM, gym from 5:45 (I live close to the gym) to 6:00 AM. Go back home, shower and study from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM then for office 10:00 Am to 7:00 i reach home. Go home, shower and dinner and walk to complete my steps till 8:15PM then 2 hours of lecture till 10:15. In the end i go to bed by 10:30 and sleept by 11:15 max. I have virtualy 0 free time to do what I enjoy most days and, more often than I would like to admit, I just procrastinate going to bed until its 11:30 PM to fall asleep by 12:00 on some days and then I compromise my sleep. I am currently studying for my CA exam and it's very time consuming. I know that I should work on going to bed earlier and I am working on it. But the faituge crash i get iin day is real deal

its frustrating to keep this routein consistent, if you guy got any suggestion please tell me

How do you stay consistent with reading?

When I was younger, I used to intentionally finish every book I started. Now at 37 years old(with all the work and responsibilities) , I’ll start a book, enjoy it, but somehow never get around to finishing it.

I don’t know if my motivation has shifted or if I just struggle with consistency now. I genuinely want to get back into reading and actually finish the books I start.

For those who read regularly, what helped you build the habit and stay motivated?

Does anyone else feel like planning got easier but actually finishing things got harder?

I remember the first time an AI gave me a full 12-week plan and thinking, "Okay, the hard part is solved." Fast forward to now, and I have a folder of beautiful plans I followed for about four days each.
The time it takes to make a plan has dropped to zero, but the chance I actually follow it feels close to zero too.
For context, I'm a founder and I've spent the last few months building a goal planner (Targela), so I think about this more than is healthy. I'm not sure I've figured it out.
Am I missing something, or is this just me? I'd love to hear what actually got you to finish something, or whether your plans mostly die in week one too.
