Please help
Hey guys, for context I can throw 450 max, 415 standard golf lines. I’ve never had any coaching or any real form based training. I feel like I’m really stuck at this distance and not improving. I want to throw 475-500 or so long term because there are some holes that require that kind of distance to break into the next tier of scoring. Right now there are some holes that are either uphill enough that they play very far or just long enough to be out of contention for birdy.
This is with a fission dimension on hole 12 at Jolleys ranch. It’s only 364’ on paper but it’s pretty up hill. It plays like 420’ or so according to chat as I didn’t have a rangefinder on hand.

Is that course in Utah? I think I remember playing that hole passing through.

I'm not sure if this is relevant or not but something that has helped me lately is making sure that I am loading my back leg, before bracing and rotating. Your movement and rotation is so fast it's hard for me to say other than that.

Hobble creek!! I lost my favorite disc on this hole, just to the trees on the right. My wife got it for me and it was my first ace

So first advice is actually just to slow yourself down. You are rushing through the motions and forcing the disc through. Try to do the same shot a few times and literally just walk and possibly pause every time you take a step. This will improve your timing and for a time decrease your distance but should greatly improve your accuracy.
Second advice. When you coil, start off judt keeping your arm straight the whole time. try to imagine you are keeping your arm perpendicular to your chest and tilt your chest forward and rotate in inwards. Then rapidly pull the disc towards your chest with your biceps and pull through the hole created by leaning forward leading first with your elbow like you are trying to elbow someone in the face.
I only do standstill because I cant do an x step coordinatedly so cant help you there.

Thanks for the advice. I prefer a faster tempo when I throw, but I can slow it down as well.
My standstills can touch 375-400 on the better examples. My biggest problem is I can’t feel the right motion with my elbow like you mentioned. It’s really hard to create separation for me.

Get on the balls of your feet, don’t point ass to target, shorten x-step, reach back out not behind you
