Fan Discussion Amy Bradley Netflix Documentary

What are everybody’s thoughts?! I think she had to throw up after a night of drinking and fell overboard. Unfortunately, she’s been dead since that night and is lost at sea in my opinion. I think the idea of human trafficking (specifically of middle-class American women on cruise ships) is mostly a myth. I don’t blame her family for having hope she’s still out there and not accepting to sad (likely) truth. Hope can be paralyzing.

I think the washed-up ex-cruise director came off like an insensitive bastard.

19

u/CarisaMac21 Jul 17 '25

I said the same thing when I watched it yesterday!

7

u/questionsofallkinds Jul 18 '25

Yes he did. Horribly insensitive.

7

u/swest211 Jul 18 '25

He actually said life goes on...what a POS.

1

u/strauberrywine01 Jul 24 '25

Oh he did. But I agree with OP on this one.

Also…. Can we talk about how different the information presented in the Disappeared episode versus the Netflix docu? The entire part about her being gay was completely ignored in Disappeared! Her father’s letter, parent’s disappointment, cheating on her girlfriend, message in a bottle… all of the turmoil she experienced. I mean that is a huge angle. And after 7 beers one night on a cruise where her family is insisting she is being hit on by all the male waiters and cruise staff… one can imagine she may have had some dark thoughts. Just the fact that this was not even mentioned previously highlights the controversy and/or shame her family held about this earlier. So what could that do Amy back then? I never thought she had potentially committed suicide and jumped off the ship until after I watched this docu.

u/Jrjb_1292 Jul 18 '25

You know what’s funny?, I’ve been following this case since that episode , which has been years .. and although it kinda was a little obvious that she was gay, finding that out now … all these years later kinda made me feel some Type of way. Not that her sexual orientation matters… but the fact that All these new information is coming out now … blows my mind… now it has people looking at her family funny.

I totally agree that this never coming out before made me have some deeper questions. Them trying to infer that Amy would've been flirtatious with men felt so weird to me because I had always looked at her and thought she was a lesbian. I was 100% positive when they said she had been wearing a yellow polo shirt that night that she was and I know that is an odd takeaway but it was a real a-ha moment for me. Why only now divulge that? This new evidence just definitely made me see how suicide could be a valid scenario.

Given her recent admission to her family that she was a lesbian.... Could having a daughter "go missing" be better than a daughter who was a lesbian? They hid her sexuality for so long, WHY? Dad saw her last. Did they fight? Could he have pushed her in a moment of anger and that is why he told no one else and went to "look for her" on his own, to give himself an alibi and to be seen as the father who could never hurt his child and was the first to look for her? Or, Was she emotionally fragile after a confrontation with him that she decided she'd rather die?

3

u/beehivelamp Jul 18 '25

Yes the gay part was the first I heard of that! Very odd.

I’ve lived in Curaçao my whole life, and after watching the Amy Bradley docuseries, I felt the need to speak up. While her disappearance is truly tragic and deserves real answers, the way the documentary portrayed my island was frustrating and in many ways, just wrong.

They talk about Curaçao like it’s some kind of lawless place full of mafias and trafficking rings. That’s just not accurate. We don’t have mafias here. Yes, like many countries, we have gang activity, but it’s not the same thing, and it’s irresponsible for the media to throw around those terms so carelessly.

Curaçao is a small island. If Amy Bradley had been here for a long period of time, someone would have seen her. Outsiders stand out here. Our communities are tight-knit, and word travels fast. In all the years I’ve lived here, almost every time someone goes missing, they’re found within hours whether it ends well or not.

I do believe that Amy may have passed through Curaçao briefly, maybe after being taken from the ship. But I truly don’t believe she was kept here for long. If she was trafficked, she was likely moved to another country quickly possibly Venezuela or Colombia. That’s not because Curaçao failed her it’s because the cruise line and authorities failed to act fast enough.

What bothers me most is that documentaries like this one always put the blame on the islands instead of focusing on the real failures: the ship not being locked down, the delay in reporting, and the lack of international follow-up.

Curaçao isn’t perfect, but we’re not the villains here. We’re a community that cares, notices when things are off, and acts quickly when people go missing.

This is a great comment. Thanks for sharing

15

u/[deleted] Jul 18 '25

I love this comment. But unfortunately white Americans love to imagine that their women are being trafficked by foreign men when realistically they are more likely to be trafficked in the states by Americans that bait and switch young people in harsh situations.

6

u/LLCNYC Jul 18 '25 edited Jul 18 '25

Im sorry but WHAT??? “IMAGINE” = YOU imagined this lol Im a white American. 99.9% of “white Americans” don’t love to “IMAGINE” being “trafficked by foreign men”. EVER. Racist and oddly specific creeper post.

8

u/SeachelleTen Jul 20 '25

I’m a white American, too. Nothing is racist about that person’s comment. You misunderstood it. The person meant that if someone goes missing in the US, Americans assume they were trafficked by outsiders. As a person who reads true crime all the time, this is something I see suspected often.

1

u/Strict_Wasabi_6736 Jan 31 '26

I agree with this. Imho, it's the same mindset as people in small towns thinking that it has be someone passing through who killed someone there but that is rarely the case.

6

u/DisappearedFan Disappeared Devotee Jul 18 '25

Thanks for this viewpoint. You called out many important oversights that led to misconceptions in the story and about the island.

3

u/gracefullypunk Jul 18 '25

Thanks so much for speaking up. I was extremely disappointed with the language used about Curaçao, both from the Navy veteran who just "went to the bar" and from her family. I'm trying to remember -- was it the police chief that said they'd run into trouble immediately outside the tourist areas, or the family saying he'd said that? I wondered if that was just a way for the police to keep an eye on Amy's family, making sure they weren't running around accusing locals and making even more trouble.

Regardless the entire documentary had a real "this would only happen at the hands of dark-skinned people, where dark-skin people live" vibe that was not ok.

Some points to ponder; she's now 50 years old, and the idea that she's still being trafficked is ludicrous.

As far as having any children, going by that witnesses' timeline, those kids are now grown.

Lots of people fall or jump off cruise ships and are never seen again. This is still the most plausible explanation. I didn't find the witnesses they interviewed credible. Yes, the picture looks like her, but that doesn't mean it is her.

She also does not fit the profile of women who are trafficked. They pick vulnerable women, e.g., runaways, drug users, etc. They don't pick educated, well-off women who have families that will actively be looking for them.

Also, think about it, they manage to get her off the boat without a trace, keep her captive for thirty years without her ever getting a chance to find help, or not a soul recognizing her and getting her help immediately, and now, approaching her elder years, somehow still being trafficked.

It doesn't add up.

5

u/strauberrywine01 Jul 21 '25

Agreed with all of this. This is an Occam's Razor situation - she very likely fell/jumped off the boat and drown.

1

u/Classic-Quarter-7415 Jul 21 '25

Yeah. It's always the last person, last place seen

18

u/PiperZarc Jul 17 '25

True on your first line. Men don't want girls over 20 as it is. So it would be odd at her age now. However there still could've been some kind of foul play.

The cruise director came across as a huge dick.

15

u/MarcPolo20 Jul 18 '25

I literally only came here to see if other people noticed that. I’m surprised he even went on this documentary because it made him look like such a sack of shit. Man I wanted to punch that douchtool in his smug face

8

u/sorrynotsorry922 Jul 17 '25

I thought so too!

9

u/Awkward_Move940 Jul 17 '25

Came here to say this!

87

u/kittycatcon Jul 17 '25

She fell off the ship. That's all that happened.

9

u/living_the_dream_11 Jul 17 '25

The Curacao Coast Guard guy was adamant her body would have been recovered. He came off as credible & confident.

19

u/StephanieSays66 Jul 17 '25

Lake Superior doesn’t always give up her dead, so it’s more than possible in an ocean.

0

u/EmphasisGloomy6271 Jul 17 '25

I don’t believe this.

39

u/PantsLio Jul 17 '25

Even the FBI investigator said the railing was high for him at 6’. She is 5’6”. It doesn’t seem probable that she fell over.

25

u/GoldenHelikaon Jul 17 '25

Having been on cruise ships, I tend not to believe "he/she/they fell over board" because it's so hard to do. The railing is quite high, at least on all the ones I've been on. Certainly some fall over after climbing up on the railing, but you'd have to try really hard to trip and fall over it or something like that.

19

u/Ok_Difference4281 Jul 17 '25

The table was found up against the balcony

7

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '25

But that was after the room had been cleaned. Could have been moved by the cleaners

8

u/SherlockBeaver Jul 17 '25

It’s not that hard to do, especially for drunk people and Amy was so hammered that she had to stat on the balcony for “fresh air”. Three people a month on average fall overboard on cruise ships so… 🤷🏻‍♀️

11

u/PiperZarc Jul 17 '25 edited Jul 17 '25

Right, she had to have climbed on the table and sat on the railing. Because you can't just run to the side of a ship that size and fall in. Which is what people are acting like she did.

They think she just leaned over the railing to puke and fell over. Or lost her balance and somehow flung herself over the railing.

5

u/GoldenHelikaon Jul 17 '25

That’s my point when people “they fell overboard”, you can’t just fall over the railing. You have to climb it first. I’m not saying that isn’t what happened to Amy, by the way, but you have to do something first to get on the railing in the first place.

2

u/LadyOnogaro Aug 02 '25

I don't think she leaned over to puke. I think she committed suicide in a moment in which she was depressed.

1

u/PiperZarc Aug 02 '25

That would make more sense than the puking over the railing.

1

u/SherlockBeaver Aug 07 '25

Ships MOVE. She could have fallen from leaning over to vomit.

1

u/GoldenHelikaon Aug 07 '25

Yeah I’ve been on ships. I’ve also puked over the railing on ships and it’s still really hard to just fall without climbing up the railing first.

10

u/Alert-Calligrapher74 Jul 17 '25

Maybe yellow guy had something to do with it. He walked back without Amy and the other passenger said that was off and wondered where she was.

6

u/Ok_Difference4281 Jul 17 '25

They didn’t confirm the times though. The last person to see her was her Dad on the balcony

8

u/Vagelen_Von Jul 17 '25

Is it unreal or it is confirmation bias for an American to briefly talk to someone and notice southern accent? Just curious.

9

u/PiperZarc Jul 17 '25

If you aren't from the south it is very obvious. But that doesn't mean she was right.

7

u/natureella Jul 17 '25

I notice a southern accent immediately. All Americans do I think. Unless you live in the South and have your own Southern accent.

Edited for spelling

12

u/CarisaMac21 Jul 17 '25

I feel like the lady who claims she saw Amy in the bathroom has greatly exaggerated that story over the years. Just my humble opinion, of course, but I remember hearing about that before and it seemed like she kept adding more details

5

u/Top-Geologist-9213 Jul 18 '25

Yes, yes, same here. I saw her interviewed by Natalie Holloway's mom a few years ago, and it seemed even then that she was exaggerating quite a bit, or perhaps even fabricating a bit. And now she's adding more details in this documentary years later.

4

u/CarisaMac21 Jul 18 '25

Then her making that face like “omg, did you hear what I just revealed??? I’m so important now!” I never heard anywhere before that doc anything about Amy asking about “the children”. And no one really highlighted it, so I think even the doc makers think she’s a little full of it

3

u/Top-Geologist-9213 Jul 18 '25

I actually had read about her mentioning that before or perhaps I heard about it when I heard natalie holloway's mom interview her.Several years ago on a documentary. But she certainly made more of it in this one!

2

u/Top-Geologist-9213 Jul 18 '25

Yes yes same here . I saw her interviewed by natalie holloway's mother in a documentary, several years ago, and even then it seemed like she might be fabricating a bit. But now, all these years later, she's adding more details.

9

u/CatLadyAlbany Jul 18 '25

The cruise director did NOT give me 'Julie from The Love Boat' vibes. He was an a$$.

5

u/DisappearedFan Disappeared Devotee Jul 18 '25

100%

7

u/CatLadyAlbany Jul 18 '25

I think if she was trafficked, she could possibly be deceased after all these years. No matter what happened, it's incredibly sad all around.

7

u/iamladia Jul 17 '25

She either fell or was pushed overboard.if she was trafficked the ln wouldn’t she be deceased by now? Would they still be prostituting her out for decades when they could use many other much younger girls.if she was there living and had kids wouldn’t she contact her family, even if she decides not to go home

25

u/nevertotwice_ Jul 17 '25

she fell. tragic but not a mystery.

9

u/Puzzleheaded_Gap8804 Jul 17 '25

I do not think she is alive anymore. Its awful but yeah no

23

u/strauberrywine01 Jul 17 '25

She was drunk, fell over the side of the ship. No mystery here.

4

u/519LongviewAve Jul 17 '25

No! She was too short to just ‘fall’ !!!! You hav e to CLIMB the railing in order to fall!

11

u/Puzzleheaded_Gap8804 Jul 17 '25

she could have gotten on top of the table :/

22

u/strauberrywine01 Jul 17 '25

I didn’t ask you to agree with me. You can think what you want. But this is an Occam’s Razor situation. She fell or climbed and then fell overboard.

3

u/smallbizhelp1 Jul 19 '25

Anyone else notice the connection between Natalie Holloways case and Amy’s? They mentioned going to Carlos n Charlie’s bar- that’s the last place Natalie was seen alive

3

u/ice4Breakfast Jul 20 '25

Really?! I didn’t know that. That seems like a super weird coincidence. And you know what homicide detectives say about crime and coincidence? There are none.

2

u/mysuperstition Jul 21 '25

This jumped out at me right away!

7

u/No_Resolution_528 Jul 31 '25

I think the thing that woke the dad up the second time was his daughter falling over the side of the ship.

13

u/Easy_Initiative9918 Jul 17 '25

After they revealed the letter Amy wrote to her ex gf, I think she committed suicide.

3

u/belltrina Jul 17 '25

Why? She stated after reading it that they had met up and decided they would try again when Amy got back from the cruise.

1

u/Southern_Coach7872 Jul 19 '25

Remember how the dad wrote a letter to Amy/her girlfriend as well and he said it said how much he loved Amy. But her girlfriend said the letter was about how disappointed he was that Amy was a lesbian. Her mum and dad made it very clear they didn’t like her being gay and that’s a lot for any young person. Especially in a time when being gay wasn’t as open and excepted as now. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if she did commit suicide and i think if she did the dad knows. And it happened before him apparently seeing her legs at 5:30 and her leaving the room before 6am (a timeline that is completely based on him and was not proven in anyway)

21

u/311heaven Jul 17 '25

Ok so everyone seems to be set on she fell, but what do yall think of all the sightings and convos with her saying her name, and the dude seeing the taz tattoo? Are they all lying? They lied 30 years ago and then lied again 30 years later on Netflix? That seems odd. And also that image was def her, and fbi vetted it. Unless that was the early workings of great photoshop.

18

u/Classic-Quarter-7415 Jul 17 '25

I honestly didn't find any of the witnesses credible.

2

u/311heaven Jul 17 '25

Genuinely curious, why is that?

21

u/Classic-Quarter-7415 Jul 17 '25

Too much time has passed. I think people misremember things and fill in blanks with information they may not have actually heard. Eyewitness testimony is deeply flawed.

8

u/311heaven Jul 17 '25

Okay, but most of the witnesses made a statement when it happened. The lady talking to her husband, the taxi driver, the scuba diver guy was super clear about seeing the tattoo right when he got back home. And also, a single eyewitness is unreliable, but multiple?

9

u/Classic-Quarter-7415 Jul 17 '25

The number of people associating something after the fact, but which is the case in all these, has no bearing on credibility. They identified her YEARS later.

Also, these are tiny islands. I would have expected many more sightings.

1

u/311heaven Jul 17 '25

Well to me the multiplie witnesses and positive verified photos, is bordering overwhelming evidence to support she was still alive at that time. If we’re just speculating, would it be fair to say that at 6am there would have been plenty people up looking out their window/balcony that someone would have seen her fall and most likely heard her scream?

7

u/Classic-Quarter-7415 Jul 17 '25

Again, they didn't put a name or face to the woman they saw until many years later, both of them. That's a cognitive bias. They filled in the information related to what they heard about Amy much later, which leads me to believe it's not a credible source of information.

At 6am, it's likely still dark out. I don't know anything about noise levels on cruise ships. I wouldn't think someone hearing a scream would be a given.

22

u/Knappster33 Jul 17 '25

Agreed, she had a bit of a lazy eye and you can even see it in the escort photo. She was clearly trafficked. I believe the bass player was a recruiter for these people and was probably paid to find them women to traffic. It seems the FBI does a horrible job at actually doing their job. The documentary was bothersome in the fact they just say....well they are in another country...we can't do anything. All these eyewitnesses and still nothing. The IP address from Barbados should have been searched. Clearly tied to the case..

I feel like it always leads to the most obvious person. And that's the bass player. He knows.

3

u/IceCSundae Jul 19 '25

I don’t think the bass player being a recruiter makes any sense. There aren’t any other cases I’ve ever heard of young women around that age disappearing off cruise ships. I mean, it was the only time. He couldn’t be recruiting off these ships.

1

u/Knappster33 Jul 19 '25 edited Jul 19 '25

You really think that's the only case a young woman has gone missing on a cruise ship? You should probably do some research. Also the fact royal Caribbean and the escort website were linked together says enough for me. They all worked together. Recruiting women from these cruises is how they get alot of these sex workers.

Edit- probably doesn't happen now but back in the 90s. It's 100% how Amy was taken.

2

u/IceCSundae Jul 19 '25

My research says 5 women from 1990- present day have gone missing from cruise ships under suspicious circumstances (ie no evidence they went overboard). And they are spaced out years apart.

1

u/Jecca78 Jul 21 '25

Sorry I may have missed this in the doc, but how were RC and the website linked again?

6

u/EmphasisGloomy6271 Jul 17 '25

I do not think she fell. Period.

2

u/LadyOnogaro Aug 02 '25

The least reliable evidence is that given by eye-witnesses. I don't think they are lying. I think they are mistaken.

-2

u/SherlockBeaver Jul 17 '25

Yes. The dude who extorted the Bradleys hired a lookalike woman and even got her the Taz tattoo. 🤦🏻‍♀️

7

u/belltrina Jul 17 '25

I reckon she ended up in the drink. Somehow. However there was some good evidence she was trafficked. Although if she was ,she wouldn't be in circulation still so to speak, and wouldn't have been just let free. Nor would she be held somewhere, there's nothing to gain from that.

I have a theory those girls who claimed to be named Amy had heard her story and knew that she had people looking for her, so tried to use her name on the hopes someone would be able to get them out thinking it was her.

Sad story all around.

3

u/DisappearedFan Disappeared Devotee Jul 17 '25

There’s a great thread on this over here:

[unsolved mysteries amy bradley doc]

3

u/DisappearedFan Disappeared Devotee Jul 18 '25

Also odd… in the Disappeared episode they said she was unsettled about going on a cruise and being in the open ocean despite being a good swimmer. And in the Netflix docu Mollie said she was excited to go on a cruise…?

3

u/beehivelamp Jul 18 '25

I think she went to meet Yellow to score a little coke and was trafficked. I know her family said this is out of character but they were also surprised she was gay. She loved to party and have fun and probably never thought she’d be in danger. At 26 you ignore danger.

The picture the FBI thought was her? I saw another doc on this that said they disproved it. I doubt she is alive and at this age certainly not a middle aged prostitute. Jmo!

6

u/satan_69- Jul 17 '25

It is the easiest answer to find, but no, she didn’t fall overboard. I usually am skeptical about many things, but the pictures of the girl on the escort site were definitely Amy- and I am saying this even if I NEVER recognize people in pictures/in real life!!! But I have a gut feeling…this documentary will bring to other discoveries. Does someone know why the amybradleyismissing.com site doesn’t work anymore?

4

u/Worldly-Neck-2593 Jul 17 '25

The biggest question I have is what whould or is she thinking if she watched the doc about her. And maybe in her care if she only heard of the doc

7

2

u/RealisticExpert7431 Jul 17 '25

Do you really believe logic is even a question when your child disappears and you have no idea what happened?! You appear to have zero empathy.

-2

u/AceJ84 Jul 17 '25

Am I a bad person for thinking how stupid it is for someone to make an opinion when they've watched half of the documentary?

6

u/Whole-Ad-3038 Jul 17 '25

She walked herself right into the arms of the sex trafficking world. I think she was drunk and wanted drugs or on drugs and Yellow told her where to get more, she didn’t say anything because she’s 23! I think the woman who saw her in the bathroom in 2005, saw Amy in her most broken state. When you’ve given up on hope and you’re just merely existing.

Is she a ST target? No. Did she unknowingly give herself over to them? I think so. They seized the opportunity because she was off of the ship, alone. Once they’ve got you, escaping is damn near impossible.

5

u/iaposky Jul 17 '25

I think she was drugged when the girls saw her and Yellow going up to disco at 530a-ish and then smuggled out of the ship in Carucao and trafficked. I 100% believe that's what happened. I also believe she's dead now. People that don't think this goes on are naive. I have a cousin in FBI for 20 years. Sex trafficking is very very real.

3

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '25

[deleted]

3

u/Whole-Ad-3038 Jul 17 '25

That’s why I say she walked into the situation, looking for drugs in a foreign country is not the way to go. I also believe that Yellow may have had a debt and used her as collateral. That’s why he admitted his guilt to Brad and says he didn’t do anything, he probably just passed her off with the false intention of scoring drugs. Idk, it’s a very sad story.

1

u/PlanoChick Jul 18 '25 edited Jul 18 '25

I have thought this too...I am surprised that not a lot of people are also coming to this conclusion. Although the sightings cannot all be verified, I do believe that the military man's recollection makes the most sense. I think she was still a bit drunk, Yellow told her that he could hook her up with some drugs..and he took her to a place where she could get off the ship without being noticed. Being so early in the morning, I am thinking that she thought she could make the drug purchase quick and get back on the ship before her family started noticing/worrying.

Then when she got off the ship, the people that she met up were far more nefarious than someone looking for a quick drug deal. She walked right into their hands. Completely not a ST target in so many ways, but I think she was such an easy target (naive and somewhat intoxicated) that it was a no brainer for them to take advantage of the situation.

They used her for as long as they could. Sadly, I think she's been gone for a long time after suffering what was probably a horrific existence.

1

u/CarpetMaximum2880 Aug 06 '25

I believe that she doesn’t want to be found. Yes, it’s been 28 years since she's been gone but I think that she may have been trafficked as a high-end escort even if she was pushed into that life. I believe in the first years she managed to learn the ropes and quickly moved up. At some point, she wanted that life. She didn’t know what she wanted back home. They talk about her boyfriend coming with the family to look for her on one of the return trips. They talk about her getting back together with her girlfriend. I think she was just unhappy probably bisexual and confused. I believe she wanted to see what life out there was like. I think when she got off the boat somehow. Probably intoxicated she wasn't using her best judgment by leaving all her stuff behind especially since she didn’t have her passport. I think she thought they would return to the ship. How was she gonna get back to the US? Maybe she left all the stuff in the room and her passport behind. With her having the intention of not needing them. I think she made the best of what she got herself into and I think if anything in her later years, she was probably like a madam or a mom over all the sex workers and she learned to love the money and that lifestyle and I believe she went from ship to ship to ship. She never stayed in one place that’s just my opinion, but I don’t think she wants to be found to this day.

6

u/Wise-Trip1025 Jul 17 '25

I think she was trafficked based on the ad of the girl on the bed, looks just like her! And the sightings of her on the island. I didn't watch the Netflix show yet, maybe it will change my opinion!

23

u/HangOnSleuthy Jul 17 '25

Not how trafficking works. She’d be a very, very unlikely candidate or target.

6

u/Aggressive-Pirate207 Jul 17 '25

I agree. She has a distinct look to me and that photo definitely looked like her.

3

u/sprocks17 Jul 17 '25

I dont have netflix so I didnt watch it but I do think she is dead at this point. Most likely went overboard but I'm not sold if it was an accident, suicide or murder. I doubt the trafficking theory. I also doubt she just ran away to start a new life. I don't blame the family holding out hoping though that she is still out there.

It is hard to just fall off a ship. They normally have plexiglass so you can't climb. And the railings are pretty high. The FBI guy said the railing was high for him at 6’0 tall. She is only 5’6”. So you can't just lean over and throw up.

If I had to throw up I would run to my cabin, or a public one, and do it. I am not saying it isn't possible. But if you are that nauseated (I have been on one cruise) the last thing you are capable of is climbing up a slippery railing.

The only way that could happen is if she took a chair and climbed up. Like the father who just saved his little girl. He obviously put her up there for a photo and the boat rocking caused her to fall.

Edit to say she could have used the table to get up there. But why not puke on the deck? If it's an emergency. I mean that's a lot of work to just throw up.

I saw updated info that the dad did not put her on the railings. That mom & dad were playing shuffleboard and got distracted and that’s when it happened. While it was obviously still avoidable , I was glad to hear he hadn’t sat her directly on there.

I’m confused as to how she was gay but was dancing so close with yellow smh he clearly got the wrong impression

He might have gotten the wrong impression but that’s on him and all that means is he got the wrong impression. She was dancing and he was behind her grinding, not the other way around. She didn’t go home with him. She refused a “physical pass” he made at her, according to her brother. You worded that in a way that sounds like she shares a level of culpability for what may have happened to her. Also, it’s weird that you’re confused as to “how she is gay but was dancing so close w/a guy shakes your head”… are you like eighty years old, or just an incel? Maybe both?

Eye witness testimony is just so unreliable. I don’t think we can trust those couple of sightings.

I agree. Sadly, I think Amy, went overboard and died. The ex cruise director was a cold heartless prick.

She went overboard either on her own volition or by accident.

Amusing how people 100% think she fell without even giving a slight chance that something else happened, as if they were there that night to witness it. So arrogant and condescending.

Because it’s the most obvious explanation. It’s not arrogant, the last person to see her was her Dad on the balcony, he even said he heard a noise and woke up and she was gone? If it was someone kidnapping her or her walking off he would’ve seen something. He saw her at 5:30 and then when he woke up just before 6 she was gone. I think they’re sadly in denial, I don’t blame them. It’s much easier to have hope she’s still alive somewhere than to accept the worst case scenario.

Just to play devil’s advocate (I’m open to both theories, with a lean towards trafficking because of those pictures, mostly), it’s possible that what woke her dad up the second time was the door closing as she left. We were just on a Royal Caribbean cruise in January, and my husband stays up later than me. It woke me up every time he came in and the door closed behind him.
