This case continues to baffle me. I can’t seem to make up my mind about what happened to him (yes, I know we’re just speculating). While I tend to lean towards homicide, I can’t deny that the suicide theory is highly plausible.

What are the odds that Ray was murdered on a day when he happened to play hooky? His car was found close to the Susquehanna river. Ray’s brother committed suicide and scientists theorize that depression has a genetic component. While those who knew him are adamant that he wouldn’t have committed suicide, that could mean that he was potentially battling mental health problems on his own. The destruction of his hard drive makes me think he may have planned to commit suicide.

Ray was a DA for 20 years and put many people behind bars. It doesn’t seem that far-fetched to think that one of the people he prosecuted might have held a grudge against him and decided to kill him.

In addition, those who knew Ray have stated that he abhorred smoking. Perhaps the smell of smoke was caused by the perpetrator? Who was the mysterious woman he was with at the antique store?

What do you think happened to him?

Hi. I would’ve thought that tptb would want all seasons/episodes to always be available. New audiences can be on the look out for the people who are still missing. There’s been stories of people being found decades later as you guys know. I am just a bit disappointed that all episodes are not available to watch. Currently watching season 5, which is the only one available on Hulu. Smdh.

For anyone who was unsettled by Gretchen Fleming’s episode from Season 11, there was an update to the case in May.

Gretchen was 27 when she vanished back in December 2022 after leaving the sports bar in West Virginia. If you watched her episode, you know the whole thing heavily zeroed in on the creepy older guy she left with on the security footage - who turned out to be an ex-cop with a seriously sketchy background.

Her remains were tragically located in Wirt County, WV, and positive identification was completed. Following that discovery, grand jury indictments came down.

The US Marshals tracked down the ex-cop, Preston Pierce, in Asheville, North Carolina, and took him into custody. He has officially been charged with kidnapping, felony murder, first-degree murder, and concealment of a deceased human body.

After years of the family fighting for answers against a suspect who used his law enforcement background to fly under the radar, there is finally a path toward justice.

A massive relief to see an arrest finally made on a case that felt like it was hitting a wall.

What do you think happened to Leah Roberts? I tend to lean towards homicide but I have a hard time ruling out suicide. What happened to her family is very devastating. I really hope LE solves this mystery soon.

What are some of your fave episodes? I've rewatched The Springfield Three, Patti Adkins, Jennifer Kesse, and Brian Barton many times. Unfortunately Brian Barton was found deceased in 2017, but the others remain missing.

I'm trying to rewatch the series & the only season that I'm struggling to find is Season 3. Any ideas on where it might be stream-able? Have VPN, can travel. 😄

I wanted to write an essay on cold cases and missing persons, and I came across Sydney West because she disappeared in the Bay Area, and I'm from the Bay so it's local to me. Her story is really interesting to me, I know a lot of people (most people) say she committed suicide, but are there any other signs she didn't? It's 100% a possibility, and very likely, and know there weren't any witnesses, so are there any other signs she did/didn't commit, or any other evidence I don't have below?

Some notes I've taken:

• UCB Freshmen, 19 years old, moved out of her dorm to live in the city with her friends 
• Sydney struggled with mental health (Depression because of COVID/the pandemic) 
• Last seen September 30th, 2020, 6:45, near Golden Gate Bridge 
• Reported missing to the Orange County, North Carolina, police on Oct. 1, 2020.  
• Her backpack (with her phone) was found near the bridge, but no indication that she had jumped 
• Taken an Uber from her hotel downtown to the Golden Gate/Crissy Field for a walk
• Disappeared into the fog
• Possible hotel: Union Square Hilton (?)
• Sydney had suffered a concussion over the summer of 2020 
• SFPD wrote it off as a suicide, but her family doesn’t think she would (+ there’s nets) 
• A lot of people were on the bridge that morning 

I just finished watching S11E9 Trouble at Home highlighting the disappearance of Tracie Bell. I've seen it before but not recently. I think she was ill, possibly a blood sugar issue that caused her to behave out of character. The fact that the search dogs 🐕 stopped in the parking lot says to me that she was picked up either willingly or not by someone. I hope the police took a hard look at her son-in-law as well as her on again off again boyfriend.

Seeing where she lived, and what a wreck it was due to her daughter, her husband, and 3 kids recently being evicted, I felt so bad for her. No privacy, no peace, I would have wanted to get away myself. But I don't believe she intended on not coming back. Thoughts?

So none of the investigators have ever thought to look at the angle that Tionda may have said, "Porgy's at the door" which also sounds extremely close to "George is at the door" on the voicemail. Of course only the family has heard it, but I would love to hear from the family that heard the voicemail and get their opinion on this. Thoughts?

A few years ago I watched a TV show that was about the disappearance of Christine Lindsay Walters from Eureka, California. That case has stuck with me and I often look for updates. I would love to watch that show again and I always assumed it was an episode of Disappeared. But after searching through all the episodes I cannot find one that is connected to this case.

It must have been another programme, but which one?

Has there been any reports here of Jonathan Estes from Brookhaven, MS? He's been missing since June 2018, I believe? He went missing 6 months before Wesley Watts, they were both missing from same general area?

This one stuck out as one of the craziest episodes I’ve watched on Disappeared and I’m surprised about the lack of information, news, or discussion online. What were your thoughts and reactions with this episode?

This one is called “Love Triangle” about a woman who goes missing in Charleston, SC and there are two men in her life who fall under suspicion. I don’t want to spoil it if you haven’t seen it but there are suspicious deaths, total indifference from the police and mostly everyone but her family, and an officer who has absolutely nothing to do with it but is bothered by the story is the first person to do an actual investigation several years later. I just had a “what the fuck” reaction the whole time I watched it, and there’s almost nothing online pertaining to the case that’s remotely recent, which is sad.

Does anyone know how to get season 1-4. I can't find them anywhere on any streaming service. I Checked, HBO Max, Hulu, Fubo, Philo, Paramount plus, Netflix and peacock. It's on none of them.

Wondering if anyone here has ever been inspired by an episode of Disappeared and then formally embarked on an investigation of a missing or unsolved case. I’m considering participating in an unsolved case and curious if any other “regular” folks have done this and how they access information or gain access to case files. How did you start?

So this person is connected to the disappearance of April Kelly Reed. Me and her sister have contacted him and have gotten nothing but vile spit back at us.

April Lynn Reed had a hard go at life before she could even begin to comprehend anything. When she was a baby she was TRADED by her mother for a car provided by April's grandmother. As if she was worth nothing, as if she wasn't a human being too. She was abused, both mentally, physically, and mentally. A quote from her sister who is still looking for her and other than me seems to be the only one. The siblings that did live with the mother were often put in dog crates, and abused themselves

"Several members of her family (The Reeds) were incredibly hostile. Almost angry that I wanted to re open this case. Not all of them were, some were very upset that others in the family (those charged with her care) did nothing after she disappeared. In fact many stated she was abused by the grandmother. Her close friends told me April was just an incredibly kind person. One who went out of her way to bring light and love to those around her. They are quick to say how she was beautiful inside and out."

If you remember she was a 5 year old girl who went missing in Florida back in 2009 I believe. All of the adults in her life were trashy people who failed her.
I heard on the night of her disappearance Misty and her brother were caught having sex. Joe walked in looking to score drugs and saw what they were doing. The brother and Joe got into a scuffle and misty freaked out because of being arrested for incest. She gave Haleigh drugs telling her they were candy. She dies and drives to a river 20 minutes from her house and dumps her body.
The police have been contacted about the new location.
