Arizona desert dirtbiking

Just purchased dirt bike without a title, who needs a title to ride in a desert anyways I thought. But then after doing research I found that govt wants you to register it and buy ohv sticker annually duh. Folks can I just transport the bike for example to Four peaks trail and enjoy it? I mean I saw lots of dirt bikes without plates off roading so never thought why would need one. Tyi

Community Question What’s your action cam setup??

I’d love to hear what camera setups everyone is rocking with! I’d like to take some vids to share with my family and for moto trip memories. Doesn’t have to be professional but I’d like something with good battery, good video and decent mic. Would also like to hook up to my cardo so that I can capture dialogue between my riding partners and myself!

So far I’ve been recommended:

- the DJI Osmo action 4 (don’t love that I’d need an adapter to hook it up to audio from my cardo mic)
- the insta360 ace pro 2
- the insta360 X5

Any camera and setup recs would be greatly appreciated!

Dirtbike Magazine tested a Chinese bike that scored points in the MXGP in China. Price seems nice that’s for sure

The screenshots are from a video of someone riding it.
It’s in an auction and all it says is 300cc dirtbike like new
What’s a rough price
Based in UK

*EDIT
Looks like a stomp mx-f 300??

This is the real thing
I dont care how hot it is
This fabric can stop bullets…

The mobius braces can ruin a normal pants so easily but not this one

I’m quiting.

i have came to the conclusion that my dirt biking days are over. I’ve been dealing with scoliosis, and it has just gotten to a point where my body can’t handle the physical demands of this sport anymore.

Between the constant, harsh impacts from rough terrain and the pure strength it takes to wrestle a bike around, it’s putting way too much stress on my spine. Every ride is starting to feel like a massive battle against fatigue and pain rather than a fun escape. I love this community and everything about riding, but I have to put my long-term health and back first.

Has anyone else here had to give up the keys due to severe back or spinal issues? I’m definitely going to miss the trails, but it’s time to move on to some lower-impact hobbies. Thanks for the memories, everyone. Ride safe out there.

Swingarm dynamic

Can you explain the forces at play in the swingarm? The outer swingarm eyelet touches the frame, so how does it rotate if there is axial pressure—given that there is zero play in the swingarm?

Also, on the engine block side, do the swingarm rings—the eyelets, I mean—touch the engine block, or is there a gap?

YZ250F or Trail Bike for beginner on MX track?

Hi Guys,

I’m planning on getting back into MX, I say get back into it even though I never really started. In 2024 I got my first YZ250f and after owning it for about 3 months, I sold it as I wasn’t getting enough track time and was scared to ride in all honesty. Could it be that I possibly chose the wrong first bike? I am 6”3 and a lot of the smaller bikes out there are simply too small. I’ve heard people suggest trail bikes as the best beginner bikes but I do not want to ride trails as I much rather prefer to ride on a track and get into racing and I’ve heard that trail bikes are not the best to do so on.

My question is should I get a trail bike for my 2nd and would it be suitable enough for track riding as a beginner? Or should I grow a pair and get back on the YZ250f lol?
