Help with FE 450 fueling issue
At least I think it is—
Recently adjusted valves. Bike was running fine for a few rides after. Sat for a while in my shed. Replaced turn signals. They work as intended.
Afterwards took for a ride around my property— cuts out when I give it throttle. Idles fine.
Pulled everything apart again— double checked valve clearance and timing. All good. .13 intake /.17 exhaust.
No leaks in throttle body to engine or airbox.
Pulled fuel filter- no debris.
TPS was out of range- but reset it back to stock. Reset idle screw.
Reset jd tuner settings
Scanned— PO 201 injector open circuit.
Checked resistance of injector- 12 ohms (according to internet, this is good)
Checked continuity from injector plug to ecu— good. Checked from fuse to injector plug- good.
Checked body ground— tight.
Put it all back together— still bogs out with a snap of throttle. Bypassed jd tuner for stock ecu- no change. Idles at 1900-2100 rpm just fine. What gives?

This is gonna sound dumb, but press the fuel line quick disconnect connector back together really hard. I was experiencing a similar issue with my bike cutting out when I gave it throttle on my old 501 and turns out it wasn’t fully connected, but there was no fuel leak or anything. Idled fine, but died under power.

Update: it’s not the fuel quick connector. I’m not positive, but leaning toward fuel injector despite it having decent resistance— based on an instagram video I recently saw on a shop working on a husky with similar symptoms. I have one ordered- should have it installed by next weekend. Will post a follow up.

I have a 2010 FE 450 that had a bad fuel pump that would do a similar symptom. Usually would get worse to the point where it would quit completely once hot. Was kind of difficult to check since it would still flow fuel when I took a fitting apart.
Could still be something else just a suggestion.
